I already tried that – as sand20 suggested above. Even with all of the other plugins disabled, Contact Form 7 didn’t work. sand20 suggested the problem is that my website is not hosted by WordPress, but I purchased my own hosting service.
I tried pasting first in the visual editor, then in the text editor. It made no diference ??
I have my own host and domain, if that’s what you mean? No worries, I will keep trying to find a solution… Thanks for your help sand20
Thanks, sand20. I tried switching themes, then switching back and disabling all plugins – Contact Form 7 still didn’t work. When I changed back to the other theme even more of my other codes displayed incorrectly on the page.
Let me know if you can’t see the link. Any comments welcome!
Thank you! Here’s the link:
Sorry if it’s a stupid question but how do I attach a screen grab to this thread?
Reinstalled the plugin to no avail. Everything else is displaying correctly on the page. I wondered if perhaps it wasn’t compatible with the theme but a message actually came up (before I reinstalled it again) saying this theme requires Contact Form 7 and prompting you to install it.
I have checked again and again. I can’t understand it, there is only the one form “Contact Form 1” and that is the only shortcode on there. I wondered if I was pasting it in the wrong place but I can’t see how I possible can be, I even followed a video tutorial I found. I also tried creating another form myself, using the code someone else on another form had used, and it still didn’t work. I may try reinstalling the plugin… At a complete lost end.
