Actually found the solution. It has to be edited from the emails customiser section in settings and not from the labels edit section.

Yes all the forms existed on the site at the time and now they are empty for consent. I have taken screenshots (of a same form) you can have a look at from different timepoints. The one recent one is working. The old ones show empty. However, they Show TRUE in the excel sheets I have downloaded around 2 years ago. I am not sure but I think this happened after the a new consent checkbox was introduced instead of the old GDPR checkbox. My forms had the old GDPR checkbox which I had replaced with the new consent checkbox. The old GDPR checkbox is now removed from the plugin and I cannot put it back to see what happens.

So I tested with a new form and current submissions are working and they show CHECKED. So the problem is resolved with current submission, however I need my old consents in the submission section as well and they still show an empty box.

Hi, I managed to solve the problem. It was not from the theme or plugins. I was blocking my wp-admin backend using Cloudflare (to prevent any backend access) and this was for some reason preventing the popup to show up as well on mobile. when I disabled the Cloudflare page rules it started working again. Thanks

I also realised that page reload in the method section fixes the issue as well, however there will be a page reload which is not convenient for me.

I am using Version 2.4.2. I am not able to upload from any place. I tried different parts of WordPress and I get the same message.

It may be due to the “Wordfence” plugin. However some plugin settings are active upon plugin deactivation and I don’t want to touch the settings.

Hi, I tried as you said and the new version does NOT work as well.

One thing I realised is if I put the SAME popup in the MENU and in the CONTENT at THE SAME TIME using tags (a or span) then the menu works! however if I remove only the one in the content, suddenly the popup in the menu stops working!

I don’t know if that would help you. At the moment I will use the old version until the update comes.

I activated the debug mode. The website is in maintenance mode now and I can’t provide a link.
It is still not working. I tried downgrading the plugin to the previous version and it works again and when I upgrade it back to the latest 3.71 version it stops working in the menu.
