Thanks for your response. Do you have any idea what could be causing this or how to fix it?
We see empty spaces at the mentioned lines of the error.- This reply was modified 1 year, 4 months ago by amitiel656.
Images are still disappearing, reappearing and doing whatever they feel like doing. We are using the Avada Theme. Do you have any observations thus far how the Avada Theme works with Google News and the GN Publisher Plugin? Or of any known issues?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Sitemap has wrong dates & posts missing@jdembowski Alright, thanks for the heads-up, I didn’t know that short links were banned.
@maybellyne The links from my post were deleted, so here is the post again, with the links, since I can’t edit the post:Thanks for your reply, here are 2 posts as examples that have been published after the 9th of October and had issues:
– https://hartz4antrag.de/finanzielle-notlage-fuer-jeden-6-deutschen-diese-hilfen-gibts-vom-staat/
We thought initially that it might be a problem with the cache plugin (W3 Cache). We have been using the W3 Cache plugin since early September and the issue only presented itself recently. We deactivated the caching plugin yesterday and the alt tags for?some?of the images for the posts since the 10th reappeared. However, with the W3 Cache deactivated all posts regardless of posting date showed another error in the Facebook debugger: og:description missing
As a result, we have deactivated the OG function in Yoast SEO and have installed another plugin – all og tags are shown properly with the new plugin and there are no conflicts anymore.
Thus far we have had almost no issues with Yoast SEO, and it seems it all went downhill out of the blue. And as I mentioned – we didn’t implement anything new on the 10th of October or close to that date, so the whole situation is very baffling. Our main concern is the massive traffic drop and the inability to pinpoint exactly what caused it.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Sitemap has wrong dates & posts missingThanks for your reply. After reactivating and deactivating Yoast SEO a couple of times, these are now fine.
However, there is another issue. For all media since the 10th of October, the og:image:alt tag is missing whenever Facebook is trying to scrape the content. This is not affecting any images uploaded before that date.
The og:image:alt re-appears when Yoast SEO is off and when the Open Graph open in Yoast SEO is turned off.
This is concerning because exactly since the 10th of October, we have a massive traffic drop. Do you maybe have any idea what could be causing this? No changes were made on the website on the 10th or before that.
Thanks in advance.- This reply was modified 1 year, 5 months ago by amitiel656.
No worries, thanks for checking!
Nope. All images are 750x500px
Hey there – turns out there was some limitation on the IP-location of users being permitted on the website. This should be lifted during the course of the day.
In the past few days, however, both websites have had heavy problems with the featured images on Google News – they vanish without a trace. And do not return at all.
The Google Discover Traffic also went to basically 0, which is very concerning, and I suspect it might have something to do with the featured images disappearing.
Here are the Google News Feeds for both of the pages:1) https://news.google.com/publications/CAAqBwgKMOOOxQswhqrcAw?hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US:en
2) https://news.google.com/publications/CAAqBwgKMOWOxQswiKrcAw?hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen
I don’t know if the issue is because of the GN Plugin or if you have suggestions that something else would need to be investigated. Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks for your fast reply. Yes, hartz4antrag.de has relatively less issues with the images disappearing than the other page (still has them though). We cannot understand what is causing this as, as I said, both are nearly identically set-up.
I have no idea why are you not being able to open buergergeld-zahlung.de? Everything seems to be working smooth and opening on our end?
Will try contacting our server provider now and ask them if they have any idea what could be causing this.- This reply was modified 1 year, 6 months ago by amitiel656.
Both use: Version 1.5.10
Here are also the Google News Pages, so you can see how images are just gone randomly:

2) https://news.google.com/publications/CAAqBwgKMOWOxQswiKrcAw?hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen
Thanks in advance for checking this issue out! Much appreciated ??Sorry, didn’t see that you had replied. Sure, here they are:
