Thanks guys. My host siteground did recently migrate me onto a new server so that could have been the reason.

@plantprogrammer Thank you – Tried and the one that worked was the search and replace plugin and that did the trick.

@corrinarusso It may have been a momentary thing, the site is working fine now and no jetpack monitor alerts.

Found the issue, it was my Social Warfare plugin. They’re a paid plugin and They’ve been pretty bad as of late and created many issues. Looking at alternatives.

Oh god! Sorry Steve and thank you – can’t believe it was that simple… duh! I’m not sure how that got changed, it’s always been open – but thank you – yes that has solved the issue – you star!

Hey Laliz,

All sorted. was a problem with host I think, couldnt’ login to CP.

Can now and did DB repair and all ok now.

Am just so glad not a theme issue! phew!

Just an update:

For anyone who has a similar issue.

My problem was fixed by my ISP. They spotted that when they changed the permissions on the directory that had the images it started working again.

I’m not sure how it got changed in the first place, but my most recent change was the update to 3.8.1

Just an update.

I did a roll-back to 3.8 but I still have the same issue and I’m no closer to a solution. If anyone does have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not convinced it’s a theme issue. If it was, why would it also stop working in an older version?

I’m also seeking help over at the DIY themes forum but I don’t think it’s conclusive so far if this is a thesis or a wordpress issue.

1.8.5 has been around a long time and there’s no obvious reason as to why it would suddenly stop working. I may also roll back to wordpress 3.8 as that was the last big update I did.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Whats the quickest way of rolling back my wordpress install to see if that has caused the problem?

Hey Esmi, thanks for getting back to me.

I’ll try the theme option but I’m not sure the default theme for WordPress has the same teaser setup as say, thesis and so it may not help to isolate the issue.

I just tried resetting the plugins folder to no avail.

My main thesis version is 1.8.5, I just realised I had 1.8.4 still installed and so I activated that but still had the same issue even with that one activated.

Any other ideas?

For anyone interested i disabled all my plugins and then found by activating them one by one that the one giving me a problem was ‘Tweet This’

I’ve emailed the creator of the plugin to let him know so if anyone else has had a problem in the same way let us know here so we can let him know.

Does anyone know of any good replacement plugins to ‘tweet this’??

if i try and validate my feedburner feed it works find but if I try and validate my original feed address it comes up with
