It was suggested that I download 3.4.1 and replace my upgraded wp-admin directory with the downloaded one. That seems to work for some, but alas, not me.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this on 3.4.1 and the same results. I get a dotted line around where the admin dashboard should be and the only thing loading on wp-admin is the news stuff.

I’m having the same problem. I read that some had had issues with the AllInOneSEO plugin, but I deleted it and Dashboard contents are still empty. I then changed the name of the plugins folder so none of them would load, and nothing changed. My site is basially a static HTML page now.
