Yes, maybe one or two but this happens on ALMOST all the plugins. do all these authors upload the wrong image mime type?
Shouldn’t www.ads-software.com check this somehow or make it a requirement when uploading. frustrating … there’s so many of them.

yes, figuring out where wp-content is easy. but those that search for files in wp-content without actually ever visiting the site.

For me I rename the wp-content b/c everyone knows it should be there by default, and hackers can easily access files in it if they know it’s there. Also I move uploads folder outside the wp directory completely. I also move the plugin directory most times.

correction to my previous post. Can also concur, now having same issues here. Seems the new fb api updates are affecting this plugin too because this didn’t start happening till the new changes EVERYBODY is suffering from. Now any app created after the update (apr 30) has to be submitted to fb for approval. But for some reason this one just stopped working after that day too. FB is such an annoying UN-necessary EVIL forced upon the world especially developers.
Any ideas devs?

Facebook changed crap again.
Now any new app created needs to either be submitted or not have certain permissions. One of those permissions happens to be auto posting, the one permission any website really needs.
So unless you have an older app, more than 2 days old your sol.

update: if you have any old app change it to fit your needs and add it your plugin. Works with apps older than a few days. For some reason no new apps will work. will keep trying other settings.

I feel the same way. But UNFORTUNATELY too many people use that DAMN site it is inevitable and necessary to add it to your site. I wish I didn’t have to but that’s what everyone wants to be on and linked to FB

As far as the old/new installation goes it is not working for me and I have had it for a while. Worked for a while using one app id changed ids and now dead. CRAP CRAP CRAP.

Thanks for replying on the other thread about that issue. I have the latest 3.2.2 version. Here is what happens
When I click download or restore the popups do in fact open. at first I thought nothing was happening but scrolling the page, the popups appeared on either the very top left or the very bottom right. The download part works, however the restore part does nothing at all. Just sits there FOREVER. Honestly I think it may be an issue with BOTH not working together correctly not necessarily one messing up another. I don’t know, I haven’t looked at either of them. Any ideas appreciated.
I have jump menu turned on till I need to do an updraft restore. It’s a minor annoyance but it works …for now.

Jumped the gun a little. The plugin works HOWEVER we have the plugin shortcode in several category & tag descriptions. Those do not work without shortcodes-ultimate.
So pretty much if you only need the shortcode in posts and pages it works no problem. If like our site you need shortcodes in tag and category description, to get that feature install shortcodes-ultimate. I think CategoryTinymce does the same (not sure) but shortcodes ultimate has lots of cool features in addition to allowing shortcode in descriptions
