  • I had the same problem on all the sites where I use the plugin. Can you please, please, do better testing before releasing updates? This caused all of us a lot of extra work. In my case, I had to restore 4 different sites which was a pain and a waste of my time. Thanks

After the poor experience I had with the product and their support, I’m pleased to say that I was able to get a refund pretty quickly. As I’ve said if you’re buying the product for its LearnPress Tabs feature, don’t bother, it’s horrible and undocumented.

The latest version of LearnPress is a disaster! It broke my client’s site. I followed instructions and updated it on a staging copy of the site. The following problems occurred.

    1. It changed the image layout and display of courses. Each course appears vertically with a HUGE preview image. I couldn’t work out how to change it back to how it looked prior to the update
    2. The site is using WooCommerce and the Mollie payment plugin, but now if you try and pay for a course it says “no payment provider”

As the site in question earns money from people booking and paying for courses online this is a disaster. This update obviously hasn’t been tested enough and to bring it out live with so many problems is just irresponsible. I won’t be upgrading to the latest version. This is dreadful considering that I’m using premium plugins from Thim Press that no longer appear to work with LearnPress. IMHO you guys should roll back to the previous version and not do another release without much more in-depth testing.

    Sloppy work guys!

Thanks to the excellent support of the Yoast team I was able to resolve this problem. Are you using a caching plugin? My site is hosted on Siteground which has a plugin called SG Optimizer. I also have WP Rocket. What I had to do was to purge the cache and then clear the cache and cookies in my Chrome browser and restart the browser. Once I did this I was able to create new users again even with Yoast SEO activated. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. For me deactivating the Yoast SEO plugin fixed the problem. I was able to create a new account only after doing so. I have opened a case with Yoast as I have the Premium SEO plugin and they are looking into it.
