In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] How do I correct my sitemap?Thank you for the suggestion, but I have tried that. I have tried at least 3 separate plugins and the default sitemap for the site all do the exact same thing. The sitemmap shows with one link and there is a message that there is no style information available.
Ohhh! I see what a backtick is. Sorry. ??
Okay, but here’s the thing. I didn’t write the SQL. I used the advanced interface and entered the requirements. The code I gave you is what the plugin generated based on what I put in the create table interface.
I have deleted everything and started over, and still the same thing happens. It’s very confusing.
Also, what’s a backtick? Are we talking single quote or slash? Sorry for not knowing what you are referring to.
Thanks
Amy

In reply to: Sitemap only shows one linkI don’t know what “you don’t really have any indexes” means. There are over 150 products on the site and plenty of pages as well. I have an old sitemap with hundreds of links in it that I found in the file manager when I looked at it from the host. It doesn’t make sense that only one link shows up in the sitemap.
I meant fighting with Google because they keep coming up with search console issues. For a while, they had a page showing from a completely different site and said it had mobile usability issues. I cannot fix a site that isn’t even mine. I have been trying to correct the errors, and working on making sure there is no malware, etc. in the files.
I asked on this forum because I wonder if the theme makes a difference with the sitemap. Given that there are so many links on the site, why then does Google not see them? My other sites (that are not even registered with Console) have really big sitemaps. So why not this one? The biggest difference that I know of is the theme, so that’s why I asked if anyone else might know about this.
Thanks
Amy

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Sitemap only shows one linkOh wow, I don’t know how I missed that.
The problem is, though, that the sitemap issue predates even having a robots.txt file on the site. The whole thing started when I registered with Google Search Console, and in the process of fighting my way through things with them I realized there wasn’t even a robots.txt file on the server. (Which surprised me a lot).
Anyhow, I just made the robots file with the All in One SEO plugin 2 days ago. I took out the rule and saved it and the sitemap is still the same. Only one link. And it’s the same with the AIO sitemap and the WP sitemap.
Any other ideas? Thanks for the help so far!

In reply to: [Postie] User PostingsWhere would I see the authorized addresses setting?
Thanks
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Postie] User PostingsI have it set so the sender is showing up in the from field when I see the email. However, that is the “Name” field and not the “from email”. I can only edit the latter field if I set up SMTP settings within VFB Pro. When I tried that, then Postie didn’t work. Might there be a workaround?

In reply to: [SG Window] Increase logo sizeWe got it!! Because the logo was in an anchor section, the custom css required an a. I ended up using this:
@media screen and (min-width: 500px) {
#page a.logo-section img {
padding-top: 0px;
max-width: 435px;
}
}Phew. That was painful.

In reply to: [SG Window] Increase logo sizeMight anyone be able to help? I went through and set the logo size where I wanted it, plus did the custom CSS as suggested by Bojan but the logo is still showing way too small on the homepage.
It does a neat thing where it shows up tiny in the nav bar when you scroll down the page. This is super neat, but is that why the original is so constrained?

In reply to: [SG Window] Increase logo sizeHi Bojan,
I am doing well, thanks!
And thank you so much for the information. I added the plugin and put in that code, and there is no change. I had tinkered with the stylesheet enough that I couldn’t tell where the changes were. So I copied a fresh stylesheet in from the original.
The logo isn’t skewed anymore, but it’s still tiny. Might you look again? I’ve tried and tried to change this and it’s just impossible. I wish I understood why the theme designer is against large logos in the first place. ??
