How do I access the ftp to site or use the host file manager?

Since I am not the admin and the blog has been working for a while now I am not sure what plug in is being used. What I do is go to the turbo option on the right uphand corner and click on the press this tool. I click on the video icon and copy the embed code into the embed code slot, then I slect upload video. Then, nothing happens…
