1. I’ve already mentioned in second last line that the following code doesn’t work
wp w3-total-cache flush all

2. Some of the text in my original question got stripped
For example
-- was replaced with - and ' was replaced with &# 8217;

So basically none of this works in Multisite

@korfiati_a, Which cache plugin are you currently using?

Usually, cache plugins have option to delete/purge old cache as and when a New Comment or a Reply is posted.

In case you find out, please do share here

Customized it to ‘swap’ from ‘fallback’ and uploaded to server, works absolutely fine. Thank you once more for this amazing theme, god bless.

Since there is no answer from the devs, I am assuming it is true that only plain sitemaps with all the links in one page works with W3 total cache. Now the questions is:

Can we specify comma separated sitemaps in
Page Cache >> Cache Preload >> Sitemap URL
