This elementor update is really annoying. Even though I reinstated my website to a previous date, elementor updated itself automatically. This resulted of the loss of my website again.
Could Elementor experts look into this issue please? An update should not result such pain

Hi, yes, it is back online although Elementor still not working. The host team managed to reinstate the website to an old date. However the elementor widget panel is still not loading. now I have to keep deactivatingg the plug ins , which I never did before. It wasnt a good idea to update the elementor plugin. bit disappointed.
what do you think causes the issue?

As you can see in the image, the option is there to set the page header height. Why is it not working?
What do you mean by existing options? Could you please be a bit more specific as I am not sure how to sort this out?

Sorry, I am not sure what you mean. Both your link and mine show the single blog post. I am unable to do what you can do. I am unable to increase or decrease the number in the page header height section. When I built and set up everything, it was possible and all was fine but now it is not.

so in the Admin panel I created a new post as usual and added a featured image. This featured image appears in the header as you can see in the links in my previous message. In order to put the featured image in the header I went to Appearance > Customise > Blog > Single Post and checked the box at the ‘Featured image in page header’. However as you can see in the links in my previous message this featured image is not responsive. In mobile view the image looks very small. Every other element (buttons, header, title etc) in the post has been created with Elementor

thanks very much. I will give a try. In the meantime I tried other plugins but unfortunately all of them were showing the button texts in the search results (excerpts), so none of them resolved my problem. I really hope this one will. if not, then probably I am using something incorrectly.

Let me try to explain the issue as my site’s language is not in English.
So on the top right corner, in the header there is a search icon (Circled with yellow). if i type a word in the search field I get to the search results. This is what you can see. Where you read “Chicago” or “British Columbia”, those are the post titles. The words marked with red look like the part of the excerpts and are the button texts such as previous post, next post and exit to previous page. Anything comes after the red circle are the post content.

So my questions are
1: how can I remove the button texts?
2. if question 1 is a difficult task how can I remove the whole excerpts?
3. how can I remove ‘continue reading’?
