FWIW; This was solved by restoring a backup of the .htaccess file.

Same question here. Except that I have this on the same site…!

Ie when in edit mode; On all but one page I don’t see the header and footer, but on one page I do see the header and footer.

I always want to see the header and footer while editing, how do I do that?

Ah, sorry about that. Since it was a subdomain that’s only meant to be temporary I never installed a cert.

We finally figured it out; The mailserver don’t accept CRAM MD-5 encryption, which is the default encryption method in WP Mail SMTP. We could change it to PLAIN in the code, and now it works.

Maybe the plugin should have this as an option?

I have contacted them. Unfortunately they are quite irrogant about our situation.

So, basically I think their server is set to not allow PHP connections. That’s what I have told them, and they “should check it”.
