I did post it already on the developers website as a question. But let me ask you one thing… is it really that dificult for someone with good knowledge of PHP and shortcodes at wordpress to help me extending the functionallity of an already existing shortcode? or is it just you as a Moderator showing the forum rules?

I dont try to be rude with this question, i just want to know if it is a matter of not being able to help me or is a matter of not wanting to help me because of the forum rules…

No, i havent asked the theme owner mainly because his answers in ThemeForest are always the same.. “Sorry but this functionallity is not available yet”…

So, i have another idea that could work for my personal situation with this theme. Is it possible to duplicate this custom post type and duplicate the shortcode as well but isntead of name it

[dt_sc_teacher columns=”2″ limit=”2″ /]

i could use as well

[dt_sc_speakers columns=”2″ limit=”2″ /]

So that way I can show teachers on one side and speakers anywhere else… cause my idea is to put teachers and speakers but do not mix them… and obviously they bot shortcodes should work same way and echo at front office the same way.

No worries, i have finally manage to put it up in Spanish, and there was nothing wrong with your code or theme, it was me, being a dumb, and uploading the wrong .mo file. But now everything seems perfect.

I would suggest to improve the plugin, to put a checkbox on the backoffice to be able to show the total amount of votes over an idea, so you can see for example 3 positive votes out of a total amount of 10. That way you can see that there is been 7 positive votes and 4 negatives which leads you a total of 3 positive votes…. understand????

By the way, it would be good if bellwo each idea, you can say 3 Votes, and then underline put the total amount of votes, so something like this:

Well… i feel so silly, forget it man… your plugin works just fine, it is me that im just an idiot… the .mo file was the wrong one… In any case, if you want the spanish translation of your plugin let me know and i will forward on to you the mo and po files.

Did you manage to translate that? I canot understand what nick means by use a filter “idea_factory_submit_idea_label”… please i really need someone′s help, i think this plugin is just fantastic, but with no translation hability im afraid im not going to able to use it.

I just want you to know i fixed this problem by updating idea factory to the latest version manually from github, and now everything runs smooth. I′m only facing one last “problem”. I translated the PO files into spanish, but i dont know how to make the plugin to use them…. ??

Buzztone, hope you don’t get this wrong, but it seems to me that “Thanks”, “great”, “sorry” are words that you don’t use that often, and you should try to start using them specially if you are going to give customer support.

If i say that this is definitely a bug is because i was using it before the update, and I don’t mind if 90 or 99 percent of the people has no problem using this plug-in (and I know is the best and the most famous one in the whole wordpress, for contact forms). If you have ever worked as a developer, you must know that this things happen, no matter that 99% of the people can make it work, that doesn’t mean that the other 1% is doing something wrong.. some of them might.. and some other might be experiencing some bug in the integration between your software and the platform.

Is it really that your conclusion about my suggestion? well let me throw some light on this matter. What about, leaving the contact form 7 as always and just in case someone needs it (my case and some others), or just want to use their own SMTP, adding an advanced settings tab somewhere in the panel. Retrograde is what you are dong by assuming all the users are dummy′s and you don’t need to listen to their questions, requirements and suggestions.

Just as you suggested i ended up using another SMTP configurer. In my case i used WP Mail SMTP and it worked like a charm.

Once you install it go to Settings –> emails –> and fill the details in that page (they are just few of them, nothing really complicated) and then you can save and send a test.

This is definetely a bug on contact form 7, please solve this. Or even better, why not putting the smtp configurations available to use on the default plugin.

Im trying out everything i can think off, but it is not working. Not even the default email (Add new –> save –> post)

As TRDK29 says, I did tests before the update, and it worked fine.

And unfortunately in my case is still not working. I know how to use this plug-in, is not like is super complicated, but for some reason it is not working after the update.

I kindly ask your help as i launched my customer′s website last week and his contact page isn’t working.
