In reply to: [Pierogi] Question about your featureswww.ads-software.com
I’ll go look at the other demoI’m sorry, I had to take the page live. I didn’t know there was an audio widget. I used that instead. My needs are really very simple. I’ve put one of the HTML5 audios up a little lower than the wordpress audios.
Note that I have a padding-left of 200px for the side bar, and the HTML5 audio player is all the way into the space of the page.
I will leave it up as long as I can. If I have to take it down before I hear from you, I will post a screenshot.
thank you

In reply to: Creating a New User/Changing Password problemsThe problem gets more interesting.
I signed in as webmaster. I went to users and selected my colleague’s user account. I entered the password she chose as a new password, saved her user account.
Then I signed in on my computer using her user name and password to test it. I was logged in to the site. I logged out.
I emailed my colleague to let her know and suggested she try it out. She tried it out on her cell phone and an error came back that she had to have cookies enabled. and it wouldn’t let her in.
Now the asking for cookies suggests to me that WordPress is using cookies for security purposes. And I understand why a security check like that would be useful.
But it’s not useful in our current situation where we’re having trouble fixing a sign-in. There should be some way, in a situation like this, that you can test the password to see if it’s working.
Right now, it’s like a vicious circle with no end in sight.
At this particular moment, I need my colleague more than I need super security, Once we have the sign in successfully allowing her to get into the sight under her id and password, let super security begin.
There has to be an answer to this.
Somebody please help.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Creating a New User/Changing Password problemsThanks for the link. Unfortunately, the more advanced methods I don’t think would work for us.
Can I, as webmaster and administrator, change her password? And is there a special way to make this work?
I have tried changing the password for my colleague in the past and it hasn’t worked.
