It was corrupt permissions for the content folder. Used filezilla to do a recursive permissions change for key folders and attachments. Thanks for all your support and help.

yes – spoke with Godaddy and the permissions were all corrupted. Using FTP via filezilla to do a recursive permissions change. Seems to be solving the problem. Whew! Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

Thats the challenge…they do exist, they are not corrupt, it happens with all themes.

They can be downloaded at their respective urls via FTP but cannot be retrieved via a url.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks Marventus. None of the images are showing. For example, I reuploaded the header image, its in the right folder on the server but will not show. Its the same for all images whether featured or not.

I have also tried:

wp-content/uploads

Neither way solves the problem.

I recently changed servers (darn Godaddy!!!!!!) and this is the only site effected. Wondering if its a DB issue.

Guys – not sure if I have the same issue or not. All my photos are in the right files in wordpress, they are set correctly but for some reason none of them are showing.

Any help greatly appreciated. I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out. so far I know its not my media settings / they are set as per uploads file and the files are still present in the files. When I upload a new picture, it also does not appear. And I have tried deactivating ALL plugins and still no resolution. perhaps a DB issue?

Any help gratefully appreciated!

No – this was not fixed – I ended up wiping reinstalling from scratch. A huge pain…and now its happening again with another site i.e. https://www.thefundingguru.com. I deleted the page ‘VCBC’ and yet it continues to appear within the nav bar. BTW – its not in the cache, its not a menu plugin problrm so any suggestions greatly appreciated.

WOW! Talk about a perfect diagnosis! I had a plugin called All in one Adsense and YPN and when I deactivated it, no huge gap. I wonder if everyone has the same issue with that plugin?
