Thanks, I thought that there might not be a way to do this with Metaslider.
It’s still a great plugin and plan to use it for my sliding galleries. Thanks
AndrewMaybe you can add a static gallery template in a future upgrade ??
Hi,
Thanks. I didn’t know where to post this suggestion, so I figured Jetpack was the best place since you guys are most “in tune” with WP’s inner workings. I know it’s not a JP issue to create a functional WP media library. It’s WP’s responsibility.
I may have found a simple plugin that will do what I want without too much admin. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-media-library-categories/Mostly, I just want to put my icons / header images / galleries into categories or tags or folders so I find them, not repeat them etc…
Will mark as resolved. Thanks
AndrewHi,
I’m not sure why you didn’t see it on my website. Somebody else checked and saw the alignment problem. However, I figured it out. I missed a closing “> in one of the ticks. So, not only was the tick not showing, but it also caused the horizontal alignment problem. Seems ok now on all browsers and mobile phone.
Will mark as resolved.
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks, the player displays nicely and works on all browsers now and is responsive:)
Sorry, for not realizing that I could have entered 100% in the width field and not just a px value ??
Will give you a nice rating.

Thanks, I thought that you knew about this. looking forward to a fix.
As an aside and a request, making the galleries “size adjustable” would be a huge plus and benefit ??
I think this may have also already been addressed and requested in the forum. For example, I just don’t need the gallery to be this big on my post page (see link).
https://www.visitbanteaychhmar.org/january-2014/Thanks for the help and useful Jetpack features.

Hi,
Thanks. I think I’ve got it up and running. I may experiment a little with the text size and font type. But, I generally like the look.
I decided to pass on doing the links, since I also have the company logos(linked) in the sidebar. It would just be redundant to have the links in the ticker, too.
I may eventually use your Image ticker if we get more donors ??
The multi-line (force-breaks) will probably look better for my needs whenever you get to fixing it.
Thanks, I like the plugin and support! ??
I’ll mark this as resolved.Andrew
Hi,
I have partially answered this myself. I need to play with the colors and background colors more and see if I can make it look ok.
I also need to experiment with the donors that have links to their websites, because the link color is set in my theme.
tick text

and

tick text

seem to workBut, I still have the above question about the multiline scroll. Is it possible? For me, the ‘force link break’ is not staying checked if that matters.
Thanks
AndrewSorry, I now realized that I replied to an already resolved thread.
I figured out one way to do what I asked.
Using Paint.net, I resized the portrait image to the same height as the landscape images and then adding padding using the canvas size option. You can adjust the padding color, too.I put a few images in a test metaslider and it seems to do what I want and solve the “portrait/landscape in the same slideshow” issue.
I’m not sure if I did it the easiest, most effective way, but it seems to work.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Adding a "enter text" option to a Select ListThanks. That’s ok. It’s not a huge issue, but it would help track our tourists/visitors a little more.
I’m not sure if anyone else has figured out another way to do this, perhaps with a different field type.Enjoy the holidays.
Andrew
Hi,
I’m sorry to ask the stupid question. But, how do I add padding? I have a bit of trouble wrapping my brain around this concept.
I know I need to resize the images before uploading. Do I resize to the same height for landscape/portrait and then add padding to the portrait images. I’m not sure where and how to add the padding. With a photo editor?I like the look of Metaslider and may want to switch over from WPPA+. Plus, I just want to learn.
I’m using the WPPA+ (Photo Album Plus plugin) now, and I was able to get my landscape and portrait images to display correctly. I think because that plugin has maximum width/height settings for slideshows and a separate global setting for the plugin. See link below.
I also may want to create my own, personal photo gallery/essay website and Metaslider looks classy ??
Thanks

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] There's a way to increase each label width?Roberto,
What did you do to increase the field widths?
I have the same problem. My field widths and message box size “shrunk” after the upgrade.
I cannot find the correct style setting to change to increase the field width and message box size.
This should be easy to do for me, but…Thanks
AndrewHa, yes it’s activated. I sent you a screenshot of the settings.

Also, not showing up on my website after the upgrade this morning to 2.5. I checked the admin settings and they seem correct.
I did switch it over to the Google Translator widget in my fourth (bottom right) area.Andrew
