BTW, there is no Table IV-A2. Only A1, A3, A4, A5.
I unchecked IV-A4.
I did not change anything in Table VI.

One more question. The description box for the photo description is quite large. Is there a way to reduce its height? Mostly an aesthetic question.
Again, sorry, I cannot find it in the settings.

My apologies. It’s a great plugin, but when I don’t use it regularly it’s hard to remember all the features, changes and settings.

I’ve gone back and looked at my other pages with WPPA albums and I now see the same problem.
My gallery page’s permalink is:

i’m not sure when these changes took place, but I think the page permalinks should be clean.

Hi,

I have not received an answer to this yet.
I would like a Select List to have an ‘enter text’ option. Sorry, but I do not see the way to do this in the help files.
For example:

How did you hear about us? Dropdown Select List
Newspaper
Radio
Television
Other – Please Describe (user enters answer/text)

And, also the answers to my other questions. I know I can cut and paste to rearrange the fields. Is there another way?
The calendar issue in Chrome is a minor nuisance. Wondering if it is the plugin or the browser?

Hi,

Any news on Transposh’s conflict with Joost’s SEO plugin? I would really like to use your plugin because it seemed to work great. However, given a choice I will keep the SEO plugin and look for another translation plugin ??

– on a sidenote, I did not check Transposh for conflicts with other plugins. Joost’s was/is the only one with a conflict that I know for sure.

It seems to be working for me now. I did the resetting. I only do one post/month, so it took me a while to check on this.

It appears to be the WordPress SEO plugin by Joost where the conflict is.
I deactivated it, and your plugin works great.

Obviously, the Joost SEO plugin is very important and very popular in WP.
Is there an easy way to resolve this?

I figured it was a plugin/theme/WP issue since the count changed after the upgrades.

Thanks and it makes sense that they are tracking separately. Frankly, I’m making a mountain out of mole hill and I really do not care that the ‘likes’ don’t sync. I see the FB Like widget now, too.

But, just for your understanding…

1) My ‘Likes’ on my website’s home page went down from 74 to 53 after the last JP and WP upgrades. There is no ‘Dislike’ button on my home page. I’m not insane. I know what the count was before and what it is now.
I don’t really care, I’m just letting you know ??

2) I also understand, now, that only certain buttons can be displayed as official/linked.

However the Twitter, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, Reddit and Digg, may also be displayed in “Official” mode. Official buttons will display the number of shares in real-time on your blog, as reported by the specific service.

– Why did my ‘likes’ go down after the last set of WP and Jetpack upgrades?

– Jetpack was pretty much keeping up with my FB likes. The count always lagged a little, but it never went down.

– I’m using ‘official’ buttons in Jetpack. Shouldn’t they ‘officially’ be tracking my FB likes (not my home page url) likes?

I’m baffled by the amount of problems people have with JP. Just look at number the forum postings daily. My Publicize also does not work. This is supposed to be a WP-authored, user-friendly, compatible plugin. Right? I’d like to keep using it, but it seems to need some cleaning up. Thanks for letting me vent a little ??

Now, can a JP author answer why my likes went down and why my Publicize doesn’t work?

Ok. Thanks for the effort. But…

It should be pretty obvious to Jetpack’s authors that we should not have to go through all this to get a share button.

Most of us are novice to intermediate web admins with other lives.

The idea of WordPress is that it’s supposed to be pretty easy, right?

Thanks, I think I understand. My theme (Weaver Pro) has several ‘smart’ and ‘responsive’ settings.
I tried them, but couldn’t get the wppa elements to resize to 700px like the images.

Really, it’s fine. The gallery looks fine on my laptop and looks much better on a smartphone. The Weaver simulator setting looks good with a tablet too. I need to check on a real tablet at some point. So, I think the auto settings are working well. Same with the slideshow widget.

For me, since it’s a travel website, I may eventually get more traffic from people on the road with portable devices than desk/laptop users.
