In reply to: How to remove "leave a comment" feature from my siteThanks for all your suggestions.
I use a plugin call “Disable Comments”. Wallah, the whole comment function has been disabled. The Comment Spammers are gone and there is no need to go down to the code level to disable certain lines of code which may be obliterated the next time WordPress or Genesis has an upgrade.
Brilliant!

In reply to: How to remove "leave a comment" feature from my siteI have tried that like 3 days ago when the comment spams started to appear on all my old articles.
I think the Comment Spammers have found new vulnerabilities in the WordPress code!

In reply to: How to remove "leave a comment" feature from my siteI am getting comment spam coming through even when I turn off comment in /Settings/Discussion.
This started to happen like 3 days ago and it is getting worse. I have 1,000 of pages and posts on my website and I can’t just go to each page to turn off the comment by going to the “Screen Option”.
How do I turn off comment at code level in Child Theme?
A.
I’ve not been successful in using the [wp-piwik module=”overview” title=”” period=”day” date=”yesterday”] shortcode.
I inserted the above shortcode into a text box and put it in one of the footer widget. It displayed the shortcode as a text in the footer when I view it from the Home page.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong?
Andrew

I did not know that Buddypress is the problem. A hook would do just as well then.

In reply to: [Captcha] Best Captcha with Contact FormDear Oksana:
A suggestion: It would be great if the next update of the Captcha support Buddypress as well. I know that currently we can insert some codes into the function.php file in our child theme to make the Captcha appear in the Buddypress registration page – but I think it would be a better solution if next update of your popular plugin support Buddypress as well.
Buddypress is gaining popularity and currently only SI Captcha seems to support it? Correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks.
Andrew
Dear Andre:
Gruss Gott.
I’ve just donated to https://piwik.org/contribute/ via Paypal. It is a good analytics program. Thanks for the info.
