Shouldn’t it be id=1 and not album=1? I’m new to Wp and all this so I may be wrong….
If you don’t mind, can I ask how you managed to set up a link form your albums to the galleries? I only seem to be able to do it if I set the gallery holding pages to “Private” which can’t be right…. and also my photo for my album is off target, and giving a rather unusual view for the folder photo… you can see what I mean here… https://www.lams.org.uk/?page_id=87

I am very new to WP, and trying to get the whole thing to work.
Where do you put the photos and thumbnails? Do they have their own folders? I have uploaded the plugin and also the rotator.swf, I am totally confused. I might desert the whole image thing actually…..

Can I just upload the xml file with my ftp software and get it to work somehow?

I tried the option in Tools but got this error….

Unable to create directory /home/lams08/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2009/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

What should I do?

I did follow the link and have had a look at the settings within WP. I guess it is just a matter of playing with it now and seeing if I can get the desired result.

Hi Chris,
I did log in but not really sure what I should change in order to make the links look like standard links. I see that a lot of WP sites have ‘proper’ looking links.

I am new to all this too, and so unable to offer any advice. I’ve noticed that it often takes a while before someone can reply to posts. However I know that there are folk on two other forums (or is that fora?) who use WP. I did wonder whether it could be done with JQuery as this is included with WP. I had found a script at
https://frinity.blogspot.com/2008/06/toggle-div-element-using-jquery.html. And wasn’t sure how to call the JQuery, this is all new to me I am afraid.
