Seconding this. We’ve found the same issue on a client build. We’re loving the plugin otherwise.

If you’re not sending out a huge amount of emails, I suggest checking out the Mandrill plugin. It’s from the MailChimp team and routes your emails through their infrastructure.

You can do this through wp-config.php

go to Super Admin > Options and scroll down to New Site Settings – the welcome email text can be changed there.

Check out the Cimy User Extra Fields plugin. It lets you add more fields to user accounts, including registration date and custom fields.

Is this something that your site visitors would use, or something that a user/administrator would use?

Take a look at Gravity Forms. You can set up conditional notifications.

We need more information to help. What are your sites? Are you seeing any specific error messages? Can you post a screenshot?

Hmm – just ran updates on a second install, and it worked fine.
Might be an issue on our environment.

You’ll need to modify the theme. There are two options I can see:

1.) Move the image so it’s above the existing menu.

or

2.) Move the menu below the image.

Sounds like you’re confused between the WordPress.com domain mapping and domain mapping for a self-hosted WordPress installation.

You’re running a self-hosted WordPress install, so the WordPress.com method — telling you to go into the Store and purchase an upgrade — won’t work.

To map a domain to your /wp/ folder, you’ll need to go through your hosting provider. Usually this means changing the document root for your domain, e.g. from /public_html/ to /public_html/wp/

(Fortunately) there’s no way to trigger a popup after a website has been closed.

Check out WP Socializer. They have a floating share bar option.

Looking good, Jen! A few thoughts:

– Replace your placeholder ads with banners linking to things you’d like to promote, like your Facebook page or Pinterest board. It’ll make the site look more complete and hopefully lead some traffic to other properties you own.
– Add an email signup form (e.g. with Jetpack, MailChimp, or MailPoet) so people can subscribe.
– Create an About page that describes what your site is about, what makes you different, etc. (e.g. Catster has their philosophy, Dogster has their team page.)
