Hi I had the same problem,
I understand that one could comment out that footer but I was just wondering where/how is that footer info/text getting there?
Also I noticed that other themes have the call to wp_footer but they don’t have it commented out and have there own static text inputted?
So disadvantages are there in commenting out the wp_footer bit?
