In reply to: Completely at a loss…Close. But what do I do if the category has no subcategories and only contains a single post? I get:
· Categories
· No categoriesAlso, I seem to be getting the sub-sub-categories as well that appear displayed on the main level with the subcategories. I adjusted the depth(s) but never got what I am truly after which is simply a listing of the subcategories of the parent category.

In reply to: Passing a username through a URLWould there be an issue with placing it inside of a Text widget that would cause that?

In reply to: Passing a username through a URLhaochi,
This isn’t displaying as a link. It shows text that reads:
BLAH”; } ?>
I attempted a combination of “‘s and ”s to see if it made any difference. I need to research the syntax, but thanks for the help.

In reply to: Screwed myselfThanks guys. After upgrading to 2.5.1, I realized I had uploaded the wrong wp-config.php file altogether. Fortunately all is restored and it’s not the disaster I thought it was going to be.

In reply to: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRINGcanduruk,
I’ve found that getting a response on these forums stands about as much of a chance as winning the lotto…and that’s if you’re not verbally berated by a moderator for the only response you might receive.
Anyway, I ran across the same issue and just copied the archive.php file from the default theme over this one. I’m running 2.5.1, so I’m not sure if it’s a compatibility issue, or if the guys who built it didn’t check it before it went out the door. Either way, I hope this helps.

In reply to: Displaying Subcategory List on a Category Pagebjohnm,
I am in need of the exact same thing. I grabbed Navid Azimi’s List Manager plugin, but essentially, this alleviates having to hand code ul and the subsequent li tags. Too, I am manually inserting the page ID’s for the link URL’s with this plugin. It’s great if you just need one centralized area for managing lists.
The problem here is that I will be handing this off to people who are not the least bit savvy when it comes to coding or how these things work in general. Hence the need to have something that is dynamic so that they don’t have to touch it at all.
Let me know if you find a solution. I’m scouring anything and everything right now.
Thanks!
