So anyway I changed the name by removing the .dist part, then try again and I get this error next….
Fatal error: Failed opening required ‘wp-blogs//blogs2/wp-config.php’ (include_path=’.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php’) in /path to/www/html/blogs2/wp-inst/wpmu-settings.php on line 28

Worse still I can’t delete some folders/files because of permission problems…
