In reply to: [The Events Calendar] ExcellentHi, thanks for the reply. I didn’t post a new thread, because I managed to bypass the issue by simply adding more text to the exerpt.
If I only put a couple of lines of text in the event excerpt, I still see some unwanted code generated at the end of the hover-over pop-up. The code mentions Addthis and GD Star Ratings so it looks like a minor conflict with one or both of those plugins.
Maybe something worth looking into, but i’m happy with the workaround for now. Everything else is awesome ??
Thanks again

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] ExcellentThanks for an awesome plugin. It’s just what I was looking for.
I have noticed one very minor issue, which you can see on the following page:
https://www.awakeningfighters.com/events/2013-07/
If you hover over the first event you can see some unwanted code added at the end of the description.
It looks like it could possibly be a conflict with the AddThis plugin?
Strangely, the unwanted code wasn’t there when I first added the event, and I noticed that when I temporarily added another test event it disappeared until I removed the test event.
So I’m sure i’ll work out why it’s happening and it won’t be an issue once I start adding events, but I thought just i’d point it out in case you know an easy fix.
Thanks again, keep up the great work,
AndyNo, unfortunately I still have the same issues.
Does anyone know if there are plans to fix this?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Participants Database] pdb list very slow to load in frontend after updateHi Roland,
Thanks for the quick response, but unfortunately the problem still persists.
I have created a simple test page with just the list and I re-installed your plugin as per your instructions. I have also disabled all other plugins on the website and even removed the Google Plus button (which I heard sometimes causes loading issues).

As far as I can tell there is nothing else that could be holding up the page. I even tried optimizing and repairing the table. Is it safe to assume that this is a misconfiguration of the server even though everything was working correctly in version 1.3.7?
I can avoid this issue in my primary website by simply not updating from version 1.3.7 but it would be nice to know I am using the latest version for future compatibility.
The issue that concerns me most is not being able to export the csv file from the admin page. This is currently giving me an instant 500 error even now in my primary website using version 1.3.7 which previously allowed me to download it.
Thanks,
Andy
