In reply to: [Related Posts by Sovrn] Adjust Thumbnail SizeHi Silvo,
You can see what I’m talking about at:
https://canigivemycat.com/blueberries
I should tell you that I took away the vertical line between the sidebar and the content so it is misleading. Sorry about that. Since the related posts is centered in the content area, please check out the right side… some white space.
I haven’t tried changing the related posts theme because I believe when I first selected I used the biggest size (for thumbnails)
Surely there is a way to set the thumbnail size in the code? Thanks!!
I think I understand what you mean. Your theme takes info from your latest post and uses it for automatically creating an H2 title on your front page (home page) which is not what you want.
I have this same problem, I use Thesis theme, but I don’t know how to fix it. Anyone?

In reply to: [Imsanity] Can deactivate plugin after successful bulk operation?I realize you didn’t yet answer this question, above, but I want to update my testing of this plugin. I did a bulk re-size of many images on one of my sites which I thought worked because it processed many files.
However, I went back to my old host containing the original file images for the same site and zipped the folder to my desktop. Then I did the same thing with the current folder on my new host. The files sizes, I looked at individual files within the zip, aren’t smaller at all. Wouldn’t re-sizing the images reduce the file size?
Thanks for your time!Hello,
So just to clarify, if you add tags they will be assisted to posts even if those posts don’t contain the created tag name? Is it possible to create tags and only have those tag assigned to posts that contain the tag name? Thanks a lot!
Jeff,
Am I correct that I would need to edit the settings within each post in order to achieve what I want? I hope I’ve been clear in what I’m trying to achieve. The problem is I have hundreds of posts so setting each one would take forever.
Jeff,
Wouldn’t that disable plugins site wide? I could achieve that by disabling plugins normally. Maybe I’m not understanding something here.
How is using the global plugins admin any different from disabling these plugins the default WP way?
To give you an example.. say I have the BackupBuddy plugin installed. I don’t need that for any posts but I need that for a backend admin functionality. If I disable it using your global admin section how would I achieve my desired result of still having that plugin fuction? Thank you for your help.

In reply to: Move to a new host problemI created another username and password, assigned it to the DB w/ full permissions, then edited the wp-config.php file to reflect that and now it works. I guess you cannot assign an existing username to a newly created DB? Can anyone confirm that? Thanks

In reply to: Move to a new host problemI see what you are talking about in the phpmyadmin about the table prefixes.. yes they are all default wp_

In reply to: Move to a new host problemHi Eric,
Thanks for assisting. The table prefix was kept default at wp_
I only know of that one further down the bottom of the wp-config file. Are there others to look for?
As for the credentials in the wp-config.php file.. yes I’ve checked it and since I left the name of the database the same.. I just had to rename the first part of the file to my hosting name XXXXXXXX_SAME. And I used an existing DB name which I assigned to the DB and the same password. Maybe I should create another DB name and password and try that?
What else could it be? Thanks!!!

In reply to: Move to a new host problemThe main page no longer even shows up and everything now says, “Error establishing a database connection”

In reply to: Move to a new host problemI should add that I added full permissions to the user for the new database so that isn’t the problem. Thanks!!!

In reply to: Site's Left Margin in Explorer vs FirefoxAlchymyth I really appreciate that. I didn’t see any Adsense code in my header.php so I went to my Advertisement Management Widget and took out the Link Units Adsense code which was automatically positioned above the header image. That’s did the trick. I guess the widget isn’t so great. Thanks so much for that!
