So I just replaced the comments.php in my theme with the one from the classic. Problem solved I think!

I switched over to the default one and they worked fine. I do know it’s my theme, but where would I look to fix it? I uploaded all the original pages from my theme, besides the stylesheet and the sidebars. I’ll post the html from those two in the next post so maybe you could help pinpoint what my problem would be. (I had also had a problem with my rss, maybe it could be solved through looking at this as well.)

I looked on my comp with firefox (mac) and cleared cache and refreshed, nada. Same with my roomates PC and firefox.

Duh, I don’t know why I didn’t do that.. I did that on almost every other image on the site! It still didn’t seem to fix it when I click on a page in firefox. For some reason it’s still not showing up.

I deactivated all my plugins.. nothing. I removed all my plugins.. nothing. Function.php just says

register_sidebars(2);
?>”

with no spaces and my wp-config has no spaces either. I have no idea what to do..

I didn’t think to look in the WP root, as I hadn’t edited any file there. I went through everything in that folder and the PHP all started at the top with no spaces. I deleted the little “short and sweet” thing, which i didn’t even know existed, but it’s still not working. Whooami, which file would I edit to delete the space at the very top? I couldn’t find it.

Well, none of the four RSS related files had a blank space before the php. I deactivated the plugins before and it didn’t change anything. I also checked any related theme files, none of them had a space before the php either. i’m stumped on the advice so far =/ (although quite grateful for it)

Ok, so what do I need to edit to fix that? (sorry, not 100% fluent with all this, still learning)

Well, I went through and cleaned up the site. No more errors whatsoever. Footer is still hanging out in the upper right. Any idea why it’s doing that now!?

I looked through every file I have and can’t find a <div> without an ending. There were two left open ended in the header file.. but there are two </div>’s in the sidebar that clear those up. I’m stumped here.

I have no idea what page the </div> needs to go onto.. the only page that I thought was missing one was the header, and when I threw one in everything got all garbled!

That did it.. I didn’t notice there was a way to edit that on the stylesheet. Thanks!

Is there a way to change how theyr’e styled? Or is it just how the program works?
