In reply to: Sidebar links in 2010 Version 1.5 have all disappearedHi t-p,
Many thanks again for your info.Yes I did try to ‘Drag and Drop’ The Grunion Contact Form into my side bar but nothing happened. It is showing as activate/edit/delete in my Plugins list.
Jetpack is also in my list and showing as Settings/Deactivate/Edit.
There is a Twitter Facebook Social Share plugin on my list and this is showing as Deactivate/Edit.
I cannot remember exactly when I lost my Side Bar or when I installed Jet pack and the Twitter FS Share thing.
If the above information means anything to you I hope that you may be able to use the information to finally resolve my problem.
Respect and thanks,
Phil

In reply to: Sidebar links in 2010 Version 1.5 have all disappearedHi t-p,
I have just tried uploading WordPress 2011 theme to replace 2010 but still have no sidebar information as I originally did.So at this point in time there is no way for visitors to get from my About/Home/Static page to the blogs I have written. Once on a blog page it is possible to go to the next or previous blog using the pointers just below the header on each each blog.
Originally it was possible to get from my Home/Static/About page to my blogs using the monthly links which were available under the word Archives in the sidebar.
On the original WordPress 2010 I was using there was a Side Bar that automatically showed links to Archives on both the static/home/about page and each of the blog pages.
I really don’t know what caused the 2010 theme to ‘lose’ the sidebar. I am also confused as to why there isn’t one in the 2011 theme I am currently using.
The theme basic information indicates that there should be a sidebar on the right but ther is no information showing to indicate whether there is a sidebar or no. I assumed that when I uploaded the new theme a new sidebar with links in it would automatically appear.
I tried going back to WordPress 2010 at on epoint but there stil was no indication that a sidebar existed in th enewly installed version.
As mentioned above I have left my site in WordPress 2011 mode because I am totally at a loss to know what to do next.
Sorry for such long message but I have tried to give you all the information you may need to solve my problem.
Thanks againin advance,
