In reply to: WordPress org profile issueThanks, I tried with other sites I own too. But it just won’t accept the change.
but do not use short URLs on this site
The irony is that i actually own shorturl.gg which is url shortener service (Obviously not trying to abuse anything though. I just wanted to add it to my wordpress user profile), well my company does. I tried to list my company’s website too in the website field for example, but your web site did not accept my company’s website tennonetworks.com either, so that didn’t work too. I can promise have never attempted to use url shorteners on www.ads-software.com and I never will so I’m fine with that.
Not sure why this happens.
Thanks again to both you Steven and Jan for your kind help!

In reply to: [Cimy User Extra Fields] REST Support? You guys should prolly migrate to something better as this plugin is surely dead and is rotting in the plugin graveyard…
I know it sucks but since the author hasn’t updated it in three years it is only going to get worse over time..
Good luck @beargfr ??
Alright, thank you so much for confirming this.
That is very appreciated. ??
However, just a friendly suggestion:
Maybe you should consider to update the “Last update info” to a more recent date as you are probably losing lots of potential plugin users, mainly because they are thinking like me and won’t risk install it when the information is that old/outdated.Cheers! ??

In reply to: [Ads.txt Manager] Google Adsense does’t catch it..Thanks for the confirmation!
I have no ideas so far.I’ve been doing a lot internet searches, and at Google self-support forums too etc as mentioned above, but nope; I’ve found nothing to point me in a right direction.

In reply to: [Ads.txt Manager] Google Adsense does’t catch it..That said, we’ll see what we can do about setting up a test for this and also at least take a look at the suspected fix
Thanks that would be appreciated.
could you pull raw access logs for your site and look for any entries for ads.txt?
Sure, I’ll take a look in my server’s logs and see if I can find anything related to ads.txt. Do you have a contact form that I could submit it too if I find anything of interest in regards to the above?
Thanks..

In reply to: [Ads.txt Manager] Google Adsense does’t catch it..Hi thanks for your reply.
Is their support responsive?
Well Google doesn’t offer any support on Google Adsense unless you have huge adsense account. They just refer to their forums with other “just as desparate” users that cannot do anything about each others issues.
So we cannot even contact their support and ask them why adsense is doing this. We can easily see the code is working fine in the browser e.g. https:/mydomain.com/ads.txt, so it is pretty odd.
Not sure what do do about this. Adding an ads.txt file in the root won’t work because WP standalone and WPMU overrides and ignores it when you call for it in the browser and just serves a 404 page instead. Hence why using code/plugin is a must, (Which I strongly assume you already know.. ?? ).
Hi. ??
Well the plugin is updated and its our own server, not some cheap shared hosting.
We simply made a replica copy/staging server copy and we get this error on the staging one that we just set up.
All other places we are running without any issues, (Several other WP installs/sites and we do not receive any errors on those, it works just fine on our server).
So we also know that there isn’t conflict. This is a bit weird I think. Not sure why this is happening.

In reply to: [HyperDB] Is this plugin up and supportedGood question!
I’d like to know too if Automatic still supports their own plugin?
This fella is getting very old and gray by now with over 2 years since the last update.
Are you guys @automattic going to update it and continue to maintain it?
Thanks for your answers in advance!
Hi Jerry.
Thanks for your reply.Oh! So that is what is going on… Thank you for explaining that. Although I don’t completely understand the logic behind that then you write a custom text the “full width button” is forced.(Is it like that as a fail safe against people that would write too much text and then the smaller button cannot contain the text?).
From my way of seeing things you should be able to chose yourself the button style even when you have typed a custom text…Thanks, my pleasure in regards to the feedback. ??
A direct feedback to you guys after my first impression is that it would be nice if you had some custom way to move the button around to a certain exact fixed position, pixel by pixel so you could place it where you wanted it.
I for example already have two important elements at the bottom and I do not wish to have these covered up by the call button, (Obviously).
But that is maybe something you already have thought of and are planning in the pro-version?

In reply to: [WP Discord] Plugin dead?Right, thanks for the headsup. ??
Time to remove it and delete it then due to the potential security risk (old code etc) ..

In reply to: [BuddyPress Follow] Update?? The plugin is quite old!Hi Andy. ??
Ok thank you so much for your answer.
That is kinda sad, because it is a good one and there is not really any replacement for it. But then I know that the plugin is officially dead.
Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend.
