In reply to: Uploading videos from computerThank you. I have successfully loaded video this way in the past, but the 3.01 upgrade seemed to change things.
On 3.01, there is a button for uploading video, but the popup box says there is a 3MB limit. I have increased the allowed space for uploading media, but it still says 3MB limit, and my larger videos will not upload.
All other information I can find tells me that I can only upload video from a third party service. Is this correct?
Thank you.

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.01 lost multisiteI’m not having any problems. Is there somewhere I can look, or something I should look for?
I really don’t know why it didn’t give me the network button when I put the code in originally. I’ve never had a problem with that before. It usually sets up just as smooth as silk. So I figured it had something to do with hostgator.

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.01 lost multisiteI put it right above the “no more editing” line.
The folks at Hostgator got the network installed for me. Said they had to add some lines of code. I have another problem now – will start a new topic. Thanks

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.01 lost multisiteI wiped the site, reinstalled, put the code in the wp-config.php. No “network” button.

In reply to: Global Sitewide Tags pluginDo you have any other thoughts on this? I found the_content in the page.php, but didn’t see it in the index.php. I made the change where I found it, but it made no difference on the site. I’m using twenty-ten.
Thanks!

In reply to: Subsites missing or redirectedThanks everyone. I ended up wiping the site and starting over. On a test site I discovered that the plugin really doesn’t want the site to be called anything other than “tags”. Afer I changed the name to “all posts” I had the problems recur, but when I reloaded the site I just used “tags” from the get-go. No problems.

In reply to: Subsites missing or redirectedThanks for thinking about it. I sure would like to get that plugin working. I use it to facilitate a global search. If you think of anything, I would appreciate you passing it on.

In reply to: Subsites missing or redirectedI can’t do anything to the tags blog. I’ve never been able to access it. I can see it on the “sites” list, but If I try to access it from inside the super admin panel, I get the main blog’s dashboard.

In reply to: Subsites missing or redirectedNo, sorry. I used it on another incarnation of this blog with no problem. I did let it set it up itself. I’ve even deleted it and started back from scratch with all plugins disabled. The only difference between the previous blogsite and this one is that we changed from virtualmin to c-panel for the server.
Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Subsites missing or redirectedThat’s the problem. The tags site defaults to this. If I try from inside the super admin panel, I get the main blog’s dashboard.
Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Subsites missing or redirectedThe problem is no one can get to the tags blog. Under Super Admin – options, I assigned the posts to the tags blog rather than the main site. The Dashboard site is left blank.
The URL should be https://tastethenightlife.com/allposts. I’ve used this before with no problem.
Thanks

In reply to: Subsites missing or redirectedHi Andrea, I’ve gotten the registration issue fixed – thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I”m still having the same problem with the Sitewide Tags plugin. I tried deleting it and reinstalling it, but nothing changed.
“I am using the Sitewide Tags plugin, and that separate site was set up, but I am unable to access it. When I try to get to it from the site panel, I am redirected to the dashboard of the main site, and when I try to access it through the URL, I am taken to the front page of the main site.”
Thanks!
