I deleted all W3TC files, then reinstalled, making sure the object cache and db cache were not selected, and now my sites are online and working as they should. I made no changes to the .htaccess or other folders or files.

As you surmised, these two sites are on shared hosting.

Yes, the email suggestions most definitely came thru InMotion Support, directly through my hosting support page. I have the name of the support tech if someone needs it.

Never mind. In fact, my whole site went down, the problem was traced back to “a plugin” – and sure enough, it was Admin Custom Login that was the culprit.

I have had to remove the plugin because it caused so many problems that my entire site went down ??

I am having the same problem- in fact I am having two problems:

First I can’t adjust any sizes. There is no slider, and it’s impossible to add a number to the blank box next to Px. See https://profile.advoconnection.com/wp-content/uploads/fontsizes.png

I had selected the page with the shortcode on it.

But based on your question, I went in and instead selected the All Forums condition – and of course, now it works!

I would not have guessed that was considered a forum page since I was only using a shortcode (obviously ?? )

So – it’s working properly now. Thank you so much for your help!

I am having a similar problem with bbpress.

I have created a sidebar called BBPress Sidebar and I can assign it to all my bbpress pages (individual forums, topics, replies, profiles, etc) except the bbpress homepage (which is not the homepage of my site.)

What appears (incorrectly) on that bbpress homepage is the main sidebar. The bbpress homepage is created as a regular wordpress page, with a welcome and other info, then the shortcode [bbp-forum-index]. I have assigned and reassigned the BBPress Sidebar to it, but it continues to default back to the main sidebar.

My theme is AstraPro.

I am also having this problem since the update 1/13/20 – two of my sites, same host (Siteground), but different accounts, reported:

Low Severity Problems:
* 3 paths were skipped for the malware scan due to scan settings

Low Severity Problems:
* 10 paths were skipped for the malware scan due to scan settings

I understand that they are considered “low severity” – but having been hacked years ago, they bring on some PTSD!

Wordfence folks – will you return us to the point where we don’t get these notices?

Robin – I have posted in the bbpress forum now. I continue to have this problem even with WP Supercache totally deleted, several days ago (including additional code WPSuperCache adds to the site.) The Forum index page freshness does not update. All the other pages do.

This thread is noted as “resolved” – but I am seeing the same problem. My primary page is taking at least 24 hours to refresh. This began to happen three days ago. There have been 2-3 bbstylepack updates since then but they have not fixed it. I can’t refresh with F5 or a reload, nor can I refresh by closing and reopening the browser, trying a different browser, or even opening an incognito browser. I do have a caching plugin, but I had the caching plugin long before I ever used bbpstylepack – more than 3 years for both. This has just begun to happen, as @ajtruckle mentioned. Here is the primary page: https://myapha.org/connect/ Unfortunately, the subpages are protected by a membership plugin so you can’t click to see those, but there are posts that are only a few hours to a few minutes old.

It appears you’ve done an update to the Plug-in and now my logo has appeared… so for whatever you did – thank you ??

I have had the same problem. My settings are gone every few days, and today, when I try to put them back, I cannot upload my logo.

yes! That did it. I deactivated Toolkit and the subforums are now vertical.

The only thing I use bpToolkit for is to replace the “oh bother!” wording – and I can live without that change.
