I also still have this issue even after the update. Tried deactivating all other plugins and switched to default theme and the issue continues.

I am having this same issue as well when I try to create an event. (I’m using Beaver Builder theme and pagebuilder.)

Thank you for your responses but I do not have that menu item. I’m on multi-site and I did find a setting in the Network page… but when I click this, it does NOT clear the red warnings on my sub-sites.

Thank you. I have disabled all unnecessary plugins and done a test of the user registration. I have received just one email, so my fingers are crossed that this fixed the issue! I’ve turned on the email history log and will keep track of that in the future as well. Thanks for your help. I’ll be in touch if the client reports any additional duplicates messages.

I made the suggested changes, but have updated Membership2 with new releases and they must no longer be working… I don’t see the same code at the lines listed on that support thread, so if this fix needs to be applied again, could you give me the lines of code for the latest version?

I’m having the same problem here. I’ve rolled back to version 5.1.5 where the featured listings worked with the free option.

FYI, I have tried deactivating all other plugins and switching the wordpress theme.

I’m getting two errors:

Failed to load resource: Failed to load resource: The network connection was lost for /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

and Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) for https://natureconnections.org/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/assets/css/bootstrap-chosen.css.mapFailed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

What can I do?

Reporting back. I did a test membership with the altered code in the membership/app/controller/class-ms-controller-communication.php using the SMTP plugin you recommended. A single message came through for signup. No message at all for expiration.

I reverted the file membership/app/controller/class-ms-controller-communication.php back to its original version, a single message came through at sign up but again FOUR repeat messages at expiration.

What else can I try? It seems all emails work just fine except the expiration one…

Thank you for your response.

I took that line of code out of the wp-config file a while ago and I did double check it today to confirm.

I have now installed, set up and tested the smtp plugin you suggested and have begun another membership test. The membership welcome message has come through. I will report back on the results.

Note – I left the file membership/app/controller/class-ms-controller-communication.php in its edited version. If that should be reverted back to original, please let me know!

I’m afraid I don’t have good news. I made the change above and received NO messages. Membership was set to expire at 6 p.m. yesterday and as of 8 a.m. this morning, I’ve received no “expiration” messages at all… What else can I try?

I double checked the file changes you sent and I don’t see anything I’ve done wrong… (I replaced what was formerly at lines 199 and 230. If they were to be additions above or below what was formerly there, I may have misunderstood.) Should I revert the file I changed back to original state? Try some other code? Let me know!
