Hmmm, I’m still not sure if it’s fixed. Using different browsers, it still looks like the styles are gone.
Ok thanks. I have emptied all caches and browser cache, tried Incognito mode and it seems to work.
Thanks for the quick fix.Hey,

In reply to: Using permalinks results in 404Yeah I know! The previous designer didn’t know what he was doing I guess. But I don’t think customer wants to pay me for changing everything, so it becomes wp-standard ?? I guess I’ll just have to leave it that way, although my fingers are itching….

In reply to: Using permalinks results in 404The stylesheets are located in a folder “style” in the root dir. Is this why the style is missing for the sub pages and posts? If I could fix this, then I could use pretty permalinks.

In reply to: Using permalinks results in 404Btw I broke the website: After I uploaded the fresh download of wp, I saw twentyten theme, with php errors in the content area… I don’t know how the previous designer did it, but he was completely wrong!

In reply to: Using permalinks results in 404I totally broke the website!
I saw a bunch of files in root dir, and they looked like template files (header.php/menuleft.php/menuright.php). I think I’m switching back to the original situation, I think this is the safest way.
I’ll try to explain my customer what a mess it is and ask her if she’s interested in a new design…

In reply to: Using permalinks results in 404This site was not moved. The previous designer made a whole bunch of changes on the twentyten theme instead of creating a child theme, so when I update the theme, all changes are lost and so is the design of the site…
I’ll try what you say and see if it makes a difference. Thanks!

In reply to: Using permalinks results in 404Hi,
thanks for your reply. It was disabled by default, now it’s enabled. The url works now, but it won’t load the CSS. Any ideas?
The homepage still shows the old urls at the bottom when hovering over a link.
