We have blocked facebook temporarily in our house due to wayward teenager – I’d completely forgotten! This means it’s a local issue for our client, the techie guy can sort that one out.

firefox it’s not showing at all, chrome I’m getting a broken image icon. Same result with chrome on both phone and tablet. How very odd, now I’m suspecting a local issue.

Nothing customised about the author role, its the standard WP role, just as the administrator role is.

Have tried with another theme, still no luck.

The author role if given access to the admin module is able to upload images just as the administrator is.

OK so I’ve run through and disabled all my plugins, still the same issue. Still to try with another theme though.

Yes, free version. I’m having another read through of your FAQ’s on this to see if I can figure out any more – unfortunately I am lost when it comes to php! (re: WP-Mix).

Ignore this, I’m telling stories, it does work, the slider takes up so much real estate on front page that 1. it doesn’t need to zoom and 2. it does zoom if you pinch outside of the slider!

I found the plugin at https://wp-ecommerce.net/easy-wordpress-smtp-send-emails-from-your-wordpress-site-using-a-smtp-server-2197, and can confirm this still works on version 3.9.1.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on why every time you search for Easy WP SMTP either on this site or via wordpress itself (or update the plugin) you get the Webriti plugin.
