I am experiencing the same. I spoke to one of their technical staff. They have no immediate plans to update it. Quite disappointing.

Perhaps it is helpful if you can put out a disclaimer or terms and conditions for potential subscribers, such as, “Subscribe to our plugin only if you know how to run xxx server, xxx programming language, etc.” Or “We will only assist if you know how to operate xxx.”
