In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] Ever considered Square? No, I have not. Did not get good reviews. Your work is rock solid, so I’d prefer it come from you.
Thanks,
Excellent! Thank you.
What would happen if I flipped the ‘Test mode’ toggle to on in my Stripe Dashboard? If I use a test card number, would the transaction work? Would this be easier than switching to Test mode in the plugin?

In reply to: [Customer Reviews for WooCommerce] Review link not on Variable Product pageExcellent! Thanks for the prompt reply.
Thank you!!!
I purchased the official plugin from woocommerce.com – works great.

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Icons only show when logged in as adminI wanted to update this thread with new results. I decided to start clean from scratch. I installed the plugin, enabled local cache, left my anti-tracking extensions in the browser, and everything works!
I did have to add some custom CSS to fix display of the icons on my Products pages where I am using an extra options plugin – not a big deal.
I tested GTMetrix before and after and in a twist, it is actually better after the install and config. Thanks again for the support – I hope this helps someone else. When in doubt, start over clean and fresh.

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Icons only show when logged in as adminThanks again for the prompt attention. This is even stranger – when I turn on the option for local caching, the icons disappear when I view the site being logged in as admin.
And, when I try a browser with the anti-tracker turned off, they also do not appear with the local cached option checked. I’ve been purging my WP Optimize cache after each change, just to be sure.
The only thing that seems to work is local caching off for the plugin and browser anti-trackers disabled. Even then, it is not consistent among products. Sorry.
I am using Bitdefender Anti-Tracker and Malwarebytes Browser Guard.

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Icons only show when logged in as adminWow – thank you for your speedy reply! You are indeed correct – I had forgotten that my antivirus installs a tracking blocker extension. Do you have any thoughts of modifying the code so that the icons are not blocked?
I have looked at some other sharing plugins that are not blocked using my browser extension. I prefer yours, but am concerned that I’m not the only one with an anti-tracking browser extension. Thoughts?
FYI – The latest update – v3.3.54 did not turn this off…..
Thanks – I found the page in your documentation. Also, is there anyway to stop this message from appearing on my dashboard?: “We also offer WordPress Website Development and Customization services:?Request a Quote“
This ticket was marked resolved, and I received a refund, but I will reply anyway. As stated earlier, I purchased another plugin. I did open a support ticket, and was told that the problem could not be reproduced and asked me to setup a site and give you login credentials. This seems to be the standard response – but I would never do this. To begin with, I was never asked what plugins I had installed so there is no chance that the condition could be duplicated.
Secondly, I only had 14 days to get a resolution. This is not enough time to debug your software.
If you are in the business of selling plugins, you need a lab where you can recreate conditions with a large quantity of plugins, rather than ask for login credentials. I hope this helps you and others considering this plugin.
Thanks – your plugin is not the culprit.
Sorry – but I retract my earlier statement. It is Wordfence that is not honoring this code in my wp-config: define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true);
When I check Wordfence>Tools>Diagnostics, at the top I see: Cron Status as ‘Normal’. However, when I scroll down, I see DISABLE_WP_CRON as ‘Cron is disabled’. I also see ALTERNATE_WP_CRON as ‘Disabled’. This does not seem correct if in fact Wordfence were honoring the setting in wp-config.
I checked with Wordfence as nearly the only plugin running on a very low volume site. If activated, and I hit the site, wp-cron is triggered. If I disable Wordfence and hit the site, wp-cron does NOT run.
I’m sure if you try this in your lab you will find the same result. Please check and get back to me ASAP – this is causing issues on several of my sites. And, if Wordfence honors the config, it should not be happening. Thank you.
Thanks – I checked your suggestions and it appears that Wordfence is honoring the wp-cron setting. I think I found the culprit in another plugin.
