In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Icons displaying a gray boxes, in a listSorry @esmi usually you’d add to any open topic where someone is having the same problem, as opposed to opening a new topic for the same issue. I assumed that the solution for one would be the same for the other and you would post it here.
I’m only noticing now that it says resolved, but there is no resolution noted here.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Icons displaying a gray boxes, in a listI’m having the same issue https://e-business.ie/ (Footer #3 Widget). I viewed with another browser (IE vs Chrome) and still just grey boxes. I’m using it on another site in the WP Network with no problems and was going to use it network wide to standardize.

In reply to: Warning code with postsThis helped to remove the error in most of the places it appeared, but it is still showing in the header of one page: https://reikitouch.ie/workshops/. Could this be cached and will disappear once the cache is cleared? It still shows when I look at the page in a different browser.
To avoid this happening again in future I am trying to determine if it was because my client edited the page on her iPhone or on her netbook (or maybe her desktop) with an outdated version of IE. Any ideas?
This was solved by my webhosting company:
“It looks like WordPress is simply running out of memory so we’ve upped the memory limit on your accounts and this has gotten the site back running.
Most likely your site was running just under the maximum memory limit and some change in PHP5.3 memory management has pushed it over the edge (you can see it was an allocation of just 4K that failed) so it may be an indirect consequence of the new PHP version, as otherwise WordPress is fine on PHP5.3 (actually it is recommended).”
FYI Gravity Forms email notifications now working after upgrading Gravity Forms. Surprised I was able to do the upgrade if the main site of the network was down, but it did and that problem is fixed.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Tab content not showing in Titles & MetasI’ve just found this as well. I saw another post where there was a known conflict between WordPress SEO by Yoast and All in One Event Calendar (which I am not running) so I went through my other plugins to see where the conflict may be, but nothing stood out.
I hadn’t yet upgraded to WP 3.5.1 so I did that and upgraded this plugin and now all OK.

In reply to: [2D Tag Cloud] No Tags ShowingSorry Sujin, I had to deactivate your plugin. I started getting internal server errors when I tried to visit a tag archive page. I tried to update permlink settings and that didn’t help, but when I deactivated your plugin in the error stopped. When I activated it again, the error came back.
Perhaps because I had another tag plugin activated or an incompatibility with Genesis Theme Framework?
When I enable the flash slideshow with JW Image Rotator the ‘broken’ slideshows work fine. It’s just that I wanted to use a non-Flash slideshow for iPad and iPhone users! Any other ideas?
Just setting up web forwarding to the main domain works ??
Oh, thanks Ron. Any ideas on how I can do this w/o getting the redirect to /wp-signup.php? Should U do url forwarding instead of pointing it to the WP installation.
I am trying to use domain mapping to add more domains that should point to the main domain. The install is in the root of the main domain progressivesolar.ie.
Domain mapping is working for a domain I mapped to one of the subsites https://www.braunbauzeichner.com about a year ago – but now when I’m trying to add additional domains (progressivesolar.co.uk, etc.) so they just point to the main site, the domains aren’t saving when I try to save under ‘Domains’.
I installed the Development version per Ron’s suggestion and still no luck. I don’t want to try changing to using CNAME (not even sure what I’d do there) as it is already working for that other site that really needs the domain working for it.
On the control panel all of the domains are pointing to the same ip address and have web hosting set up pointing to the WP installation — as is the domain that is working. If you go to https://www.progressivesolar.co.uk you’ll see that it points to the site, but gets an error.
The site is on WP Version 3.0.2 using Genesis with a child theme I customised.

In reply to: [WP-Cycle] is it possible to add a 2 wp-cycle in the same site ?You can see one person’s solution to this at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/multiple-wp-cycles?replies=2 but note the reply that it may conflict with other plugins. I’m thinking of trying it anyway.

In reply to: [tscopper] [Plugin: tscopper] Styling the Gallery? There is a line in the php for this, around line 420:
$max_col = isset($parms[‘col’]) ? (int)$parms[‘col’] : 0;Also see on the author’s site that you can put col=”” in the shortcode.
I downloaded and installed the development version. It is now saving the Domain Mapping settings, but not saving the domains. I uninstalled/reinstalled, upgraded WP to 3.3.1. Any ideas what may be at the bottom of that?

In reply to: [ID Coppermine] Cannot get into the settings page after installation. This may sound silly, but are you sure you uploaded the plugin’s main directory into the right directory on the server? Is it on the server as wp-content/plugins/id-coppermine? and not id-coppermine1.1.1?
Or did you have it upload from the admin panel? If so, then I’d delete and try again. That’s about as technical as I am able to address.
