Ah, that’s good to know. I will talk to their dev team.
Thank you for getting back to me so superfast! ?? I’ll keep you posted.
Hi Peter,
I think you can actually hook up a donation link to your plugin page. John Godley did that, for example: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/redirection/ See bottom right on that page. I am not a plugin developer, but I assume it is something you can activate through the repository. I have also seen others redirecting that link to a general page on their site about donations.Your Stripe link accepts only creditcard, not PayPal. Could you change / add that? I have a dedicated PayPal account for donations to Open Source developers. I wrote an article about it: https://annebovelett.eu/the-ease-of-supporting-open-source-developers/ Apart from wanting to buy you coffee / beer, I would really love to update my article with a link to your plugin, once you have that button in place.
The PostgreSQL seems to be your issue!
Currently, the official WordPress distribution only supports the MySQL and MariaDB database engines. A number of people have requested support for other database engines, particularly the open-source PostgreSQL.
Source: WordPress CodexI suggest you install it again, using good old MySQL.
I’m so sorry to hear that! Can you share your system info with us? In case you don’t know how, here’s a short tutorial about how to do that. https://youtu.be/DTkUgppRn6Y
Make sure you copy it from the area way down at the bottom of the system information page, as that leaves out some sensitive information.
Cheers,

Can you share your system info with us? That way you help others to help you. In case you don’t know how, here’s a quick video explaining how you can retrieve that info. https://youtu.be/DTkUgppRn6Y
Make sure you copy it from the area way down at the bottom of the system information page.
If you don’t want to share the domain name, you can take that out with search & replace before you paste it here. But it would definitely help if if we could take a look at the live website.
Sharing this info will save yourself and all helpful others from being sent on a goose chase by asking you a gazillion different questions, and sending you in different directions. ??
That’s an interesting “issue”. I have not seen that before. But it looks like it is not interfering with the use of the plugin?
I’d like to point you to a Facebook group called WordPress Hosting: https://www.facebook.com/groups/494572587341133
Best thing to do is to describe what kind of hosting you have, and what steps you took already, like you did here. The more you elaborate, the easier people can help you.
Don’t only mention unmanaged VPS, but also what interface you have. cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, etc. and what you are experiencing.
At risk of sounding like Captain Obvious: Don’t allow anyone you don’t know and trust to access your server. I’ve been all over the place with my unmanaged VPS’s and at some point I realized that it’s a toy best left untouched unless you understand what you’re doing. I ended up hiring a great Dutch consultant who guided me through the entire process.
PS If you do find a solution, would you be so kind to let me know, here?
Thank you for posting. It would mean a great deal if you’re also willing to let the Elementor Development Team know this directly, through Github, here: https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues
The Elementor Developers, they look in Github. ??
Before you add your report, it is best to use the search field first, to see if someone else already reported it. If so, you can +1 it. If not, you can click the green “new issue” button on the top right of the page. You will need to create a profile on Github first (which is free), before you can post a bug report or comment.
Please provide all the details about the bug you encountered.
Thanks a million for helping! ??
??
PS Please note, Github calls everything an “issue”. You may get the impression there are a gazillion problems to be solved. But, like you may want to add one now, a lot of these are Feature Requests.
Hi. Do you mean greyed out? Can you share a screenshot?
Hi, right now, I see a site that is empty, except for one line. I can imagine this is very very frustrating!
But to me, this sounds like an issue with your hosting company. I think you should contact them. Because Elementor does not erase files.
I’m so sorry to hear that!
My best suggestion is that you ask this question at WPForms as they are the creators of that widget. Possibly, they have to update their code. There’s recently been a massive update to Elementor.
I went to your page, and it seems to work fine? If it’s another popup you refer to (not the off canvas menu) let me know. I this is resolved, I’d love to hear it too ??
Thanks!
Sounds really frustrating. The rules here are strict though, you are a pro user. And as such you have access to support that users of the free version don’t have. Please ask your question in the new Elementor Forum: https://forum.elementor.com/ You can sign in with your Elementor account credentials.
Hi there!
Please don’t shoot the messenger. I’m only a volunteer moderator at Elementor. I understand that you are in distress! The rules here are strict, though. You are a pro user. And as such, you have access to support that users of the free version don’t have. Please ask your question in the new Elementor Forum: https://forum.elementor.com/ You can sign in with your Elementor account credentials.
Maybe we, as fellow users, can help you to solve your issue.
If you actually want a response from the official Elementor support, this really isn’t the place to go, neither is the the place to complain about support. If you want to let Elementor now you have an issue with the official support department, please go here instead: https://elemn.to/feedback
Another team will look at your case. Please wait at least 48 hours before filling in the form and also check your spam folder and anti-virus program.`
Cheers,
Anne
