No, I didn’t. Should I?
Because I don’t see how I could make a ‘layered’ menu with custom menu’s, I mean, with pages and subpages and sub-subpages…
I have devoted quite some time to have my pages-structure reflect the best possible way to navigate the pages of my site.
Copying that structure into an ‘custom menu’, identical to the default menu, would mean that I simply have to re-do that work. (And moreover, the pages-structure in the ‘my page’s’-box shown on …/wp-admin/nav-menus.php doesn’t reflect my actual pages structure, so it would cost me quite some time to rebuild a custom menu that is in fact the same as what my default menu contains.)

(No need to apologize for a delay… It’s absolutely great to get this kind of support for a free theme. I’m already considering to upgrade, not because I need the extra features, but as a means of appreciation for the support I get.)

Well, I’m quite happy with what I get now…
Once or twice a month on Wednesday, I just post a picture titled ‘Wordless Wednesday’.
I’d like to see at least part of the image on the excerpt page, like when I set an featured image for an Image post.

It would be nice if on the postpage, the title would be above the image, but I have to admit that maybe with the title underneath the picture (see link below), the ‘wordlessness’ of the post is stressed ;-).

Allthough you suggest Smart Slider 3, I ran into the same problem (dropdown menu invisible) with this Slider (that I really love!).
With the help of Smart Slider 3 support, I solved it by adding the this code to bootstrap.min.css:

I hoped that upgrading WordPress to the newest version would solve this annoying thing, but I still get the message that I have one pending comment, but I can’t find that comment.

Upgraded FF, since it wasn’t in the updates for my linux-distro already, but that plugin will be fine nevertheless:
Sometimes I open my admin-page at work, and there I have no influence on the browser used, and it’s a really out-of-date IE.

Latest stable release was 7 two months ago…
And which is the latest now? ??
I’m running FF 8.0, and get the message it’s out of date…
(Glad there is a button to dismiss the message, because it really is annoying… )

I have the same issue, and the problem is also discussed on wordpress.com forums, but there seems not to be a real solution yet. For me, jetpack seems to work, but I’d like the other plugin to work.

When you are editing the post you want to make ‘sticky’, you have (in 2.7) a ‘publish’ section where you should see ‘visibility’. Click on ‘edit’ next to visibility. Now you should get the option for a ‘public’ post to make it sticky.

No… this ‘recent-posts’ plugin isn’t going to work, at least not for me.
The ‘hybrid’-theme has no ‘simple’ sidebar.php template, so for me it seems too difficult to find out where I have to insert <?php mdv_recent_posts(); ?> in the templates…
It seems that I just have to find another theme…
