In reply to: Editor broken after the 5.6.2 updateHey there. Thanks for reporting this and including screenshots. It helps a ton to have context! I tried various things to replicate this including resizing my screen and changing the size of my browser but wasn’t able to do so on a test site using the Twenty Twenty theme with no other plugins installed.
Before going further, can you confirm that this problem occurs when all other plugins are disabled and you’re using a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty or Twenty Twenty-one? This will help narrow down the possible problem further.
I ask because none of the fixes included in the 5.6.2 release were directly related to what you’re describing (this doesn’t mean there won’t be unintended side effects!).
I can confirm the same issue on an additional site:
Warning: require_once(/wordpress/core/5.6.1/wp-content/plugins/flickr-album-gallery/plugin-notice/admin/class-getting-start-plugin-helper.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/flickr-album-gallery/plugin-notice/admin/getting-started.php on line 9 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/wordpress/core/5.6.1/wp-content/plugins/flickr-album-gallery/plugin-notice/admin/class-getting-start-plugin-helper.php' (include_path='/:.') in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/flickr-album-gallery/plugin-notice/admin/getting-started.php on line 9
Installing, reinstalling didn’t work. This is the first time I’ve seen this error with your plugin on the site and it still exists upon reinstall!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Error Editing postHey there! Thanks for reporting this although I’m bummed to hear you’re having trouble with the latest version of Gutenberg. Have you tried using a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One to rule out a theme conflict with the latest version of Gutenberg?

In reply to: [Gutenberg] WP 5.6 getCurrentPostType not working anymoreHey there! It looks like you already reported this in GitHub (thank you!): https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/28225#issuecomment-760970990 In case you missed it, this issue was referenced as the best place follow along for any potential solutions: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/25330 Hope this helps!
Hey there! Are you seeing a specific error message? Have you tried ruling out a plugin or theme conflict? What version of Gutenberg are you using? Any additional information would be great!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Version 9.8 broke my websiteHey there! Thanks for reporting this although I’m bummed to see Gutenberg 9.8 broke your site. To confirm, have you disabled all other plugins to rule out a plugin conflict? I just want to be sure before opening an issue in GitHub: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Erro fatal GutenbergHey there! I don’t speak Portuguese so I have used an online translation tool to help translate your message. Feel free to continue responding in Portuguese as a result and I’ll do my best to communicate back.
For starters, I’m bummed to hear you’ve run into trouble and appreciate you reaching out here. It looks like you’ve run into the same error described here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/28075
Can you confirm that you were updating to Gutenberg 9.7 when this happened? Further, can you let me know what version of WordPress you are using (you can find this information under Tools > Site Health > Info)?
In the GitHub issue, the reporter mentioned that updating to WordPress 5.6 and then deactivating & reactivating the Gutenberg plugin caused the fatal Gutenberg error to resolve itself. Can you give that a try and let me know if that solved the problem?
Thanks so much for working with me on this.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg widgets block editor is a mess of errorsHi @drtonyb! I am back with more information for you. I was able to replicate both the sidebar visibility issue and the Widget CSS Classes problem. I reported the sidebars seemingly maxing out here:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/25932
I also contacted the plugin author for the Widget CSS Classes plugin to let them know about the call for testing for this new screen and to ask them to file an issue in GitHub for what they need to get this working properly. I know this doesn’t solve your issue directly but know that I’ve reached out and am very appreciative that you’ve flagged this for us.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg widgets block editor is a mess of errors@drtonyb Thanks for clarifying what theme you’re using as well as sharing the errors you’re seeing. I dug into GitHub to see what might need to be reported and found one of the errors you were running into has already been:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/25789
For the error around the unused HTML widget in Inactive Widgets, do you still see this error when using Gutenberg 9.1.0? I ask because I tried to replicate this error using the Twenty Nineteen theme and HTML widgets in the Inactive Widget section but was unable to do so.
Finally, when you were previewing the widget, was the widget in question a legacy one? If so, it seems this reported bug likely applies:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/25749
As for only 9/13 of the registered sidebars showing up and the Widget CSS Classes plugin problem, I’ll dig into those tomorrow and report back!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg widgets block editor is a mess of errors@drtonyb Thanks so much for sharing this feedback although I’m bummed it’s caused so many issues on your site. I’m not sure if you saw this post below but we’re actively looking for reports of these kinds of problems as we work to improve the current experience of the Widgets Screen:
This was part of the goal in moving the screen out of experimental when it was stable enough! By chance, would you be open to sharing more information in the form of a GitHub issue about your site? You can do so here:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues
If you can provide information about the theme you are using along with any additional plugins for example, that would be a great help! If you happen to be in the www.ads-software.com slack installation, you’re welcome to ping me there too if you’d like to chat about this. My username is annezazu.
