But I think there is something I haven’t understood

After that once it is on new server the plugin should take care of the rest. Right?

Thanks I probably just need to change the site url before pushing the site to new server.

As the site reverts back to the previous server (Development server) I cannot go into the backend and check anything. I have pushed everything onto the staging server now but both from end and backend reverts back to the development server.
I had left the Site Address (URL) in the plugin settings emty.
Should I have changed the actual wordpress url settings before migrating? Or changed the Define Site Address url in the plugin to the new staging url?

I had hoped to make migrating seemless but I still have exactly the sam problems I had before. I’m probably doing something wrong

Please help as I will have to do this process every month for the next year… as this site will undergo major changes every month

same here and it creates other problems using Divi theme. Like loading global templates. I’m not a developer so touching php functions makes me a bit nervous… no risk in touching this code, right?

I have managed to get rid of the fatal error message updating the theme as well but all my portfolio items have lost their link to the portfolio page. Even when I create a new there is no link and I get to an error page.
