In reply to: [Sidebar Login] current WP version?Hasn’t been updated for the past three versions of WP (and four years). Maybe it has been abandoned…
There aren’t that many pages and not even that many event entries in the Event Calendar.
I think it’s caching dates that have no events. My theory is that it’s somehow saving each calendar date as a page, regardless of content. I don’t know if that’s a flaw of Hummingbird or the Calendar plugin, but I’ve turned off caching for events on the site and it seems to keep the disk space within reason.
I mean the files on the server. I deleted a folder from Hummingbird’s files (wphb-cache) for The Event Calendar and watched the account go from (over its capacity at) about 1g down to normal of less than 500mb.
Discovered one of the problems: It doesn’t play well with The Event Calendar. Took the site footprint from less than 500mb to 1gig!

Please trash this new monstrosity. We are no longer underwhelmed, we are now pissed.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Feature request: MapsWith all due respect, I don’t think that’s true. I have used a few other plugins that use the Google Maps API that have plenty large maps on the computer which are scaled for smaller screens.
Take a look at The Events Calendar, a plugin of which I’m sure you are aware. The default setting for the map is the full width of the container in my experienc.
PS While you’re there, take a look at their Venues feature, which stores locations for convenience…

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Individual events are blankAlso have this problem. Can’t find page, but show up in calendar view.
Never mind, had a competing calendar installed – The Events Calendar. Solved.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] reCaptcha just not showingSame problem here. Had multiple Recaptcha instances from older contact forms, but narrowed it down. Still a no-show.

In reply to: Incredible Shrinking Images in IE 11Follow up:
I managed to fix this IE user’s experience by omitting the sizing information on the image (it was to be used full-size anyway). I imagine this isn’t proper methodology, but can it hurt on some other browser?

In reply to: [10WebFAQ] You Get One Chance OnlyGave you the benefit of the doubt and installed on a second site. Same problem. No access to entered FAQs. A conflict with another plugin? Not sure, but I can’t use yours. Sorry.

In reply to: [10WebFAQ] You Get One Chance OnlyMaybe in the pro version. Mine only shows an empty box for, as it says, adding a new question.

In reply to: [10WebFAQ] You Get One Chance OnlyYou mean by adding a question you can rewrite the question again? And then how would you delete the first one?
Too wonky, found a substitute.

In reply to: Manual Upgrade, Fatal Error finding classesThanks for the help.
Turns out I had neglected to transfer wp-activate.php from the root. Thought it wouldn’t be needed, as it was already an existing setup.
And, as if anybody was listening, I’ll finish by ranting about what a mess multi-site is. Really wish I hadn’t ‘upgraded’ to it for this customer. Plugins are all over the map as to if they need to be network activated or per-site activated. Upgrades don’t work. Yada, yada, yada… Somday I’ll get up the gumption to ‘downgrade’ them back to two domains or a subdomain. Less headaches, IMHO.

In reply to: Manual Upgrade, Fatal Error finding classesI should clarify: I get that error when trying to access the site or the login page.
Same problem, multiple sites. When I go into the plugin to make a backup ‘manually’ it says that it has been sent to the appropriate emails. Worked fine until recently.
Please fix this.
