People should choose the official plugin from Flowplayer. FolioVision go away from this forum.

There is a preview of the video that does not use Flowplayer, it shows it using the HTML5 video tag and the controls look different in different browsers. This preview is shown below the post editor where you supply the flowplayer options and video files.

How does it look when you try previewing the whole post or when the post has been published? Can you share a screenshot?

It should work just fine with Androids and iOS devices! Flowplayer 5 supports those and this plugin integrates Flowplayer 5.

There is a sample subtitle file packaged inside the plugin. Can you please try with this subtitles url: https://<your-site-domain-here>/wp-content/plugins/wp-flowplayer5/assets/misc/subtitles-en.vtt

Do you see any error messages in the player when you try with subtitles? Are there any error’s in the browser’s developer console?

Unfortunately the wordpress plugin does not allow you to achieve the hover effect, at least yet. I’m thinking if i should add support for these also.

Unfortunately it’s quite difficult to say what goes wrong. You should definitely see the Flowplayer stuff below the wordpress post editor. Like shown in the 2nd screenshot here: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/flowplayer5/screenshots/

I have some more questions to you:

Do you see “Flowplayer 5 for WordPress” in the list of plugins? Can you activate it? Can you access it’s preferences?

Just released version 0.3. There is a new option for always showing the logo. It’s in the plugin’s configuration page.

hmm… Did you enable the plugin? ?? Do you see any errors in the browser’s dev console?

I just released a new version of this plugin where the player autosizing works. The size is no longer fixed.

By default flowplayer only shows the logo when the video is virally embedded into external sites. See here: https://flowplayer.org/docs/#custom-logo I will add an option to make the logo also showing in the origin site.

The button becomes activated once the video preview is shown. For the preview to work you need to provide a video file that is supported by your web browser. See here for some info on video formats on different browsers: https://flowplayer.org/docs/#video-formats

I will soon release a new version of this plugin where this is better explained in the UI.
