Hello Frank! I understand your canary analogy and why you are discouraging this. But some themes are built with horrifying things underneath such as WP Bakery or Visual Composer or other stuff. I have disabled the inline CSS aggregation hope that will do the trick. By the way so what is the worse case scenario, is the growing of the cache will stop at one point or just keeps growing forever? Sorry I am not sure what is the underlying issue.

How can this issue be marked as resolved? We have the same exact issue and it is nothing about caching. On the linked page there is a vague recommendation that if it is not a caching problem then it is a bug and you should downgrade (which in itself is a very strange advice) without saying to which version to downgrade even.

Normally I wouldn’t complain about a free plugin or the response, but we are also paying customers for other products by Shortpixel and we don’t get any useful feedback to help us resolve this issue.

Hello Tobias! No worries and thank you! I am pretty sure there is some over-nesting involved here but I don’t think that particular one I have checked is the one that causes the break. And yes this error regularly appears, I suppose when someone hits a page which triggers the error, but I couldn’t find out which one. I really appreciate your help and helping to pinpoint the issue about over-nesting shortcodes, I will keep checking the error logs and try to find out where is the table which is causing it.

Just one more question please is there some character that we should avoid from adding to your tables? One of the tables kept crashing apparently for no reason, I don’t know if this was related to the nesting issue or having some character that we shouldn’t.

Hello Tobias! Thanks for all your feedback. These errors show up on our error logs, the WP_DEBUG is set to false but we have an auto-generated error log. I suspect when somebody visits a page where there is an embedded code like what you’ve mentioned it causes a PHP error. But I am not sure which page is it, after visiting the page that has the above mentioned code the error log didn’t update, so maybe that is not the one causing this. Do you have any suggestions how to track down where is the table that is causing the error based on the error log?

It seems inside some shortcodes the Single Table Cell shortcodes are being executed? But the table displays correctly.

Is it bad that cells have single cell shortcodes that refer to another cell in another table? I couldn’t find more nesting than that at the moment.

Thank you for your quick reply Vladimir. Yes I know that, but the thing is that for some reason it only loads thumbnail sized images if I specify ‘thumbnail’. Then it loads the correct thumbnail size image, so I think the thumbnail settings for the theme are fine.

Otherwise it looks like a thumbnail, but when you check the image file size it loads a larger image if we don’t specify ‘thumbnail’.

So I am not sure about this if it is a WordPress issue or something else, because it should be the same if I specify thumbnail or if I don’t. Anyway we just keep replacing the file.

Arnan, dank je for the quick reply I will de-and-re-activate the plugin and hopefully that will fix the table problem. I don’t think anybody has deleted the table though.

Regarding the update, how come AdRotate is the only plugin that needs one more step after updating in the plugin? I think its not so convenient especially on a large number of Multi Sites.
