In reply to: [GeneratePress] Stylizing Search FormHello, @leohsiang hope you are doing well.
The link below is an example of how the search bar currently looks. I would customize the search form if Elementor had the option.
https://postimg.cc/7fntFJrwI provided an example below of how the WordPress edit search form looks, and all the custom features it offers. Notice how we can add CSS to the widget just as you would in the theme builder.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Stylizing Search FormHello @leohsiang,
so within Elementor for this specific widget, there is no customize style section. This widget is not like most other widgets where you have the option to stylize. It is a WordPress widget that could be placed in Elementor. I believe the only way you can customize the widget is by using CSS just as you would in your theme.I would like to show you an example of what I am trying to achieve but I can’t seem to attach an image. Would you happen to know how to attach an image?
Also, I am hosting my site locally, unfortunately, for the time being, I won’t be able to share my URL.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Stylizing Search FormHello @leohsiang, Hope all is well.
I can definitely contact their support however adding CSS to the search form in my generate press theme is essentially the same thing as adding it into Elementor custom CSS. I can be mistaken, I am fairly new to WordPress and for that reason, I am here seeking some guidance.
Let me know what you think.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Customizable search barHello Gentlemen, I recently added a search form to my header menu https://prnt.sc/tqimvb and I would like to know how to customize the widget within the GeneratePress theme. I have added some CSS scripts that I’ve seen you guys post on other forums Ex.: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/styling-the-search-bar/
and I placed the script in the “addition CSS” section and nothing seemed to appear.
I Cannot share my site because it is still being hosted locally at the moment.Looking forward to hearing from you guys,
ThanksHello, I seem to be facing the same issue as many others.
The default language is English but when I enter a search query in the search field on the secondary language (French-Fr) pages, I’ll be redirected to the English search results. How do I allow my results to appear for the correct language? I don’t know what is responsible for this redirect but I am sure there is a simple solution.thanks,
