Ok, tried it, but the issue was back again. Deactivated it to avoid losses.
Logs resolved, thanks for the instructions. Other original issue not resolved. I deactivated the plugin and the issue is gone; ‘place order’ button now works properly again for other payment methods. But I want to use PAYMILL, so how to proceed?

Any chance of adding the icons / logo’s in the PayMill WooCommerce plugin for Carte Bleue and Carte Bancaires? These are important for the conversion ratio in the French market. I checked with PayMill and they are co-branded credit cards from Visa/MasterCard which will also be accepted through their payment gateway.
