Yep and sadly……nope……it isn’t going to work…..but salvation may come in the form of Bbpress which may do enough to suit my needs….

This was looking very promising until i clicked the visit random member/group button top right and groups and members from a different sub domain popped up….. if i hide this bar will the members/groups still be ‘searchable’ or visible with the correct URL? – ie you cant lock subdomain members away from other sub domain groups and members?

Can someone please write a plugin to prevent site deletion without reentering password or something like that….us idiots need protection….from ourselves……

interestingly i was meaning to delete a user with the same name as the site…. lesson learned: dont name users the same as sites as the interface for deletion looks identical for both…. ??

When a secondary site member logs in via the primary site i want him to be redirected to the home page of his site – is there a plugin that does this?

so for exmaple when i activate the pagelines platform pro theme in a secondary site it has none of the custom fonts,colors, images etc defined in the same theme in the primary site – so where is this new config for the theme stored? and how can i use common settings for the secondary site? – thanks again for your help

and same for plugins? what if i9 want different plugin settings and files for each sub domain?
