Fix:

Upgrade the sites PHP from 7.2 to 7.3 finished the setup of WooCommerce Home which prompted me to redo some stuff.

then revert my PHP back to 7.2 because the sites Theme is not compatible with the Newer Version of PHP..

@wpnomad Sir, by really wanting to fix this error and finish this support thread..

I’ve tried to disable the WooCommerce Folder at cPanel more errors have sprung out and I can’t access my WP Admin Dashboard..

I’ve notice irregular behavior of WooCommerce Home upon commenting out the line 56 in WooCommerce.php.. It is continuously asking me to setup shop.

Edit: I forgot to include this I have re-enable the WooCommerce Folder in cPanel for our website to be live again, as stated in my reply above this.. there’s a marketing presentation that needs our website to be live tomorrow. So it gives me no choice but to re-enable and keep it live with the commented out line 56 in woocommerce.php

@wpnomad I may not be able to try it out now and the next day +8GMT, our marketing department have an up and coming event and the website is needed in the presentation.

Does the update require tax setup configuration and logo configuration?
The reason why I’m asking is because that what I’ve noticed when I tried to go to the WooCommerce Dashboard in WordPress Admin Dashboard..

My Staging Site didn’t have the Parse Error but it is the same as the Official Website, WooCommerce requires me to Setup Shop.

I’ve commented out the line 56

and Re-Update the WooCommerce Database as required by the Plugin when I login in the Dashboard.

My Question now is would the line have any effect on the functions of WooCommerce?

@kellymetal actually i have an exact copy of the official website as my testing and staging site.. what amazes me is that on the trial and testing site WooCommerce works fantastically..

i really have troubles with permalinks and I’m trying to find the way to fix it, if you’ll scan the support forum I also got an on-going problem with Author Permalink with WooCom and MyBookTable..

anyways thank you for the very helpful advice as i try to learn everything and read about everything, it’s really a joy to learn and improve and fix problems.. ??

@kellymetal Hello sir, i have to carry out a temporary solution to get the Products Archive working as the website must not have errors or any downtime.

I changed the /shop/ to /shop-anv/ to make it work..
but i can’t use the /shop/ anymore..

I will try and get the reports and follow what you’ve said..
for the time being the Issue was temporarily solve by the custom base which was /shop-anv/

@stuartduff Sorry but it’s no a Product Category, It’s a Custom Taxonomy or Additional Detail to the Product which is giving a response of Error 404.

@eastofwest ummm.. how do i do that? can you teach me.. i really have no idea..

@eastofwest It is usually not with the MyBookTable Plugin they use to be separate Authors..
Authors for those who have digital products & Authors that is with WooCommerce..

What happened was when the WooCommerce Custom Taxonomy started giving out Error 404 Response the website automatically redirects it to the Authors listed in MyBookTable.
