Further investigation has told me it is when ‘Enable PayPal Card Processing’ on the ‘PayPal Card Processing’ tab is enabled.

An extra ‘Credit Card’ option appears on the checkout page, and when selecting it a drop down card, expiry date and CVV appear. On entering values, it says the card cannot be processed, try later.

I have turned this off now but am a little concerned.

How do I do that sithout giving you access to the site at an admin level?

With regart the stats page, it just displays nothing where the order stats would usually display. I could grab a screenshot, but not sure how to show that on here.

Yes, I’m pleased to say you are correct. I don’t know why it didn’t work for me when I tried it previously. It was a few versions of WooCommerce ago and so it may have been something that was fixed.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I did check Update existing products. It was a while ago that I tried this and so I just assumed leaving the tag field blank was not the way to do it. I’ll try it again now and see if it works.

I suppose there was a chance I’d left a space in the tag field in the import field, but I didn’t think I had.

Seems to be back working again now ??

Two of the sites I tried it on and got the same message are still running the previous version of WordPress (5.6).

Is there some way of reporting this or do the JetPack developers monitor this forum?

I have just checked another unrelated site that I set up to use Jetpack, and I’m getting the same error. This would seem to confirm that it is a generic problem.

I have just experienced this myself for the first time. I have been using Jetpack since I set up the site a couple of years ago and never seen this message before.

The only thing I have changed in between the stats working and not working, is that I have upgraded WordPress to the latest version, 5.7 and well as upgrading my version of PHP to the latest, 7.2.4. It was on 7.2.2 previously but my site Health Report said I should upgrade it.

However, I have just checked my staging site which is still on the previous version of WordPress, and I get the same error message.

Thanks fort the reply, but I am thinking specific internal PHP variables that are only used to temporarily hold data in the code. They are not available at the time the page is displayed. I want to check the contents of them so I can then manipulate them in the PHP code.

I’ve just watched a course on lynda.com where print_f() is suggested for determining what values variables hold. Does this seem a reasonably acceptable way of doing this when doing development? Being new to php programming I’m just trying to establish best practices.

I couldn’t get the suggestion to work in any shape or form. As there have been no other contributors, I’m happy to close this and I’ll continue to research it myself.
