Huh, OK something has changed (user error perhaps?) and it’s now saving them correctly. I didn’t even see the edit slug options, so thanks for that, that’s good to know about.

The only way I could recreate the issue is, as you say, save the link without a title, then add a title in and save and it produces an ID based link. It’s not how I did my first 6 links though, so not sure what went wrong there but it seems to be functioning now.

I thought the same thing at first but looking at the documentation, you add /amazon-greatest-weightloss-secret-book/ and /amazon-greatest-weightloss-secret-book/

It looks like the plugin grabs the site URL for you, so if you do add it, it is trying to send it somewhere like https://paleomagazine.com/https://paleomagazine.com/amazon-greatest-weightloss-secret-book

Currently it does not support unique views, that will be coming when I complete the next version (it’s been a while coming).

In what way is it not compatible with 3.9.1? Are you just looking at the Compatible up to: 3.7.1 notice? If so that’s just a tag that will be updated with the next version. It is compatible with 3.9.1

I haven’t checked out JetPacks stats in comparison to UserStats, however the basic structure is that when someone views the page it is recorded. In the newer version It will record it plus record based on IP (unique views) per day.

Thanks for the feedback. I am currently in the process of creating a new version of the plugin, remade from scratch which will be a much better plugin.

I’ll look into this issue and see if there’s anything that can be done in the meantime.

I have done some testing with default W3 Super Cache and they seem to work ok together.

I was looking for something similar myself, couldn’t find anything so I have made a small plugin.

Haven’t decided whether to add it to the WordPress plugin repository or not yet, but if you email me at info at apinapress dot com I can send you a copy (for free of course).

It is pretty basic, a widget to add post permalink, image and excerpt (image and excerpt are optional) and some minimal CSS. Only caveat is you have to input a list of comma separated ID’s rather than select from a list.
