i understand what youre telling me but my users pay for access currently through ccbill, to an install of wordpress, which is in the physical directory of along with my protected files. the only plugin i have seen that comes close to this is MagicMembers but im not happy with the fact that my files remain in an unprotected folder, and the links are simply masked. i feel so naked having them in a folder that if someone knew the link to, could simply spread it. and gain access..
i need to continue to use ccbill and some how give the protected content to paying users .. err.. sorry i wish i could be more clear like i understand a lot in my head but i cant seem to put it in to words very well.
please dont lose faith in me ?? i really want things to work but im concerned with things i cant put into words.. the structure of everything.. i need money so i can sit down with a programmer face to face and go over things lol. dang money..

but when a user is viewing my wp site, i want them to have to be logged into the physical directory as well sense that is where the htaccess pw protected content is stored.
ccbill protects a folder on my server, when a user logs into my protected WP install i want them to be logged into that protected folder too… this is why i was hoping to be able and make the physical dir, which is the same as the virtual dir, that way i can put my protected files in the physical folder, and when a person goes to the virtual folder .com/members they will first login to the physical folder, then be granted access to my WP site off of the multisite network..

also i cant use plugins for this, i have another system running on my server and it needs to stay in place.

i appreciate the help, but im cant help but ask, if it works by creating a physical folder, matching the virtual directory, and this allows me to password protect it just like a real dir, sense there is a real dir now that i made one, which there is also a virtual dir identicle, and now when i try to access the wordpress site, it wants the username and password like on a real dir, because i made the real dir, and instead of giving me the contents of the real dir, which is nothing, i get to view the wp site..

I know when i put more content there it will push it down but i really am hoping to have it so even with out content ready yet to be gone. i cant stand looking at it ??

Thanks nima, im definitely going to watch that but i wonder, i have a standard html file uploaded with the exact same code and it does not mess up like it does on the wordpress site.. so im wondering if something is interfering with it that i cant figure out. any idea? cause in #thumbs i have a specific width..
